About Medina

Founded in 1816 and incorporated as a village in 1835, Medina is a fast-growing city with a historic downtown that reflects its 19th century past. Medina is the seat of county government for one of the more prosperous counties in northeastern Ohio. As of the 2000 Census, there were 25,139 residents. The population within a 15-mile radius is approximately 275,000.
