About Lima

The city of Lima is located in Northwest Ohio. It is approximately 75 miles north of Dayton, Ohio, 75 miles northwest of Columbus, and 75 miles south of Toledo. The Auglaize River runs just east of the town. The town was established in 1831, and named after Lima, Peru. It is the seat of Allen County.
