About Paradise
Paradise, Nevada is an unincorporated town in Clark County. It contains most of the Las Vegas strip and McCarran International Airport. It is also near a number of more natural tourist destinations, including Lake Mead, Lake Havasu and the Colarado River.
The July 2006 census estimates the town's population at 190,000 people. Paradise is hot during summer with temperatures in the 104 Deg F (July) and cool during winter with temperatures in the 35 Deg F (December – February). Paradise is supported in large part by the strong economy flowing out of Las Vegas, which in turn thrives due to transportation, lodging and entertainment income from the tourist industry.
