About East Concord
Concord, NH is the state capital and appropriately home to the Franklin Pierce Law Center, New Hampshire's only law school. It's population is forty thousand, and it enjoys low poverty compared to other state capitals. Concord's weather ranges from summer averages in the low seventies and highs to the mid-eighties to winter lows in the high to mid-teens.
Small manufacturing -- especially high-end, handmade furniture -- became the base of Concord's economy in the decades following the Revolution; and quarrying of local granite contributed to the city's growth as well. The longest growth period the city had was thanks to the construction of a railroad hub to service nearby textile-producing towns. Today, small manufacturing and tourism are the mainstays of Concord's economy.
