Greeley, Colorado is a city in Weld County. Greeley is situated between the Cache la Poudre and the Platte Rivers, with the Rocky Mountains on one side and farmlands on the other. According to the 2003 census, the population is 84,519. The city was named after Horace Greeley, the editor of the New York Tribune. Although the city was named after him, Greeley only visited it once.
