About Evergreen

Evergreen, Colorado is located in Jefferson County, in the Denver-Aurora Metropolitan area. The population in 2000 was 9,216. In 1875, homesteader D.P. Wilmot bought a large tract of land south of town and was the first to call the area Evergreen and the name stuck. The average temperature in the summer is 61 degrees.
