"Please don't buy Goodman"
Goodman is shit just like Nordyne and Amana. Do not buy Goodman unless you want a unit that is made to fall, buy a carrier or Trane or Rheem ruud if you want quietly. The facts is Goodman is crap, please don't buy.

"I have had a Goodman supposedly 5 ton unit"
I have had a Goodman supposedly 5 ton unit since April. They have been into my house 4 times and it still is not cooling properly. I bought a 10 year service agreement but AirNow won't even come to my house or answer my calls. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals Office and I am getting ready to find an attorney and file suit against AirNow. This unit is a 14 seer 5 ton unit. It replaced a 12 seer 5 ton Tempstar that was damaged in a hail storm. It was 12 years old and I had to have one service call in the 12 years when a blower motor burned out. I never had a problem with it. I don't know how much problems with this unit is Goodman or AirNow but I intend to find out one way or the other.

"New Heat pump and furnace"
This heat pump unit keeps breaking down and the parts are covered under warranty but the frequent labor costs and freon charges are soon adding up to the cost of a new unit.

"CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT WILL SOLVE PROBLEMS"
Bought brand new on May 2011 it's now August 2011 and been fixed 5 times could of cost me a fortune . Customer service is horrible . I have a licensed hvac install it and he's a dear friend who does quality work every time something fails he knows exactly what went wrong with unit. If I didn't have a friend in the business this unit could of easily cost me a small fortune. Stay away from Goodman at all costs. Parts are junk and fail all the time.

"The worst unit I've ever had"
I've only had the unit in the house for about 2 years. Spent over two thousand dollars getting it worked on. And it still doesn't work. That's using three different contractors.

"A Real Lemon"
Heat pump has never worked. Have to use the emergency back up all the time. Air conditioner broken twice - both times with coolant leaks. When a/c is working, it sounds like a car crash when the unit starts up. This a been a real lemon!

"Worst AC Ever!"
"Terrible" Worst ac ever!!!!!!!!! Don't let a dealer sell you one only to return for repairs to rip you off. Unit is not yet 4 years old and it has been a maintenance nightmare. It worked fine the first two years. The last two years has been hell. Each summer goes out and causes me around $400.00 to repair. The warranty sucks. I will never buy another Goodman unit. Very poor quality and poor quality parts.

"Goodman sucks"
I installed a Goodman heat pump and gas furnace 4 1/2 years ago. Not one year has gone by that I have not had service on the heat pump. The parts have been covered but I have spent over $3000 for labor, freon, and supplies. I contacted customer service and they have the worst customer service dept. I finally contacted the Houston Better Business Bureau. Goodman responded with an offer of some monetary help but I am still working through the offer.

"HVAC Contractor"
I've been in the HVAC industry for 39 years. I've sold Goodman equipment. I will never sell them again. If you live in the mid to upper states, look at this. If you take a look at the heat pump, out side unit, it looks like a weed eater has gone around the first 4 inches of the bottom of the coil. The lower portion will freeze and eventually cause the outside coil to leak refrigerant. I sold one to my next door neighbor 6 years age, had to replace the compressor once, and the outside coil no his heat pump. I have never seen this kind of coil damage to any other brand in the field.

"Heat Pump Problems"
We had this heat pump installed in August 2007, we have had to have freon and repairs each summer. We just recently had the plugs replaced and received a bill for $500 for the labor and freon. I believe this is unfair and the company should back their product in full. I am going to request a new unit, and will not recommend this to anyone.
