"Mine has been fantastic"
I have a nice shop for antique cars that is fully insulated and I installed a Bryant heat pump over 10 years ago. I really don't pay attention to it, and don't have it serviced like I should, but it runs without fault. No problems at all in that time. Sometimes we get up to 3 feet of snow. I have to go outside my home and clear it all away from my 2 heat pumps for them to work properly. Meanwhile, the Bryant for the shop sits buried in a snow drift, working fine. I wish my home units were Bryant. I beleive the people who say that the installation and set up are 90% of the future reliability of the units.

"Very Good System"
Too bad so many people have been rating Bryant heat-pumps so poorly when it's often been the service or installation company that has provided poor/incompetent service. That unfairly skews the picture. We installed a 17.5 SEER 5-ton Evolution system 7 years ago. Very quiet and energy efficient. The only issue we've had was the compressor starting to make an odd noise after about 2 years. Bryant replaced it under warranty.

"Geat Deal Great system"
Bryant Evolution system running two years now. Central Florida area so it runs almost all year long. I saved over $1500.00 on my electrical bill so far compaired to my old junk Goodman system that failed in 4 years and had to be replaced. Great product and happy with the factory authorized dealer who installed it.

"Best HVAC unit ever!"
We had a Bryant Evolution heat pump system with a high-efficiency gas backup furnace. The system heats and cools unbelievably well, even in extreme temperatures. It is so quiet, I can seldom even tell when it's running. Definitely would buy again!

"I Love My BRYANT Evolution System"
I can't believe the difference. I had the Bryant Evolution System installed in April of 2009. I watched my electric bill drop by almost $100 a month through the summer of 2009 compared to the summer of 2008. The air is more comfortable. It is extremely quiet and very easy to use. I set the programmable thermostat. I never have to touch it. I can tell you I did a lot of research before I purchase my system. I think I made the right decision. This site seems to be a venting station for unhappy people but I for one want to brag about how great my Evolution System is.

"Happy camper"
We were met and set up by a caring (installer) Bryant rep from Lincoln NE. He answered a barrage of questions explaining the pros and cons for getting a heat pump instead of just an air conditioner. He then figured up all the particulars needed to balance the system for maximum efficiency, then sent all the info to get it looked at by a Bryant system engineer. We also installed a natural gas backup furnace as well as the heat pump. Over the years, we have had only had 2 service calls in 15 years and that was because the freon was low. We are elated that we bought from Bryant and would recommend a system to anyone. I keep the unit clean and cleared of snow and vegetation and have no complaints at all.

"288A Evolution"
After reading the reviews of the others I thought I would write a comment. It sounds like many have had installer problems and it's really not equipment problems. My first concern when I was looking for a Air Conditioning Heat Pump system was the installation company. I found what I thought was the best a/c company in my area. They sold Bryant Systems and so I did a research on Bryant and found the 288a was Consumer Digest Best Buy. I also wanted the Zone Control since Bryant has the state of the art system in zone control. Now I can control my office when I need. The master bed room is no longer hot since it now has it's own smart sensor. and huge thing, I will say it is very quiet! The system looked big so I was worried that it was going to make noise like my last trane system and it was by a bedroom window but I honestly can say I can't hear it run inside! The Air Handler inside my hall closet I can't even hear it run when it's on low speed. The only way I know it runs is when the Thermostat tells me. Glad I went with the Bryant!
