"Very Satisfied"
As I read through all of these reviews and here all of the problems people have had with their York equipment, I can't help myself from wanting to contact each dissatisfied consumer. Most of the problems I read about people having to go back to the installer or service contractor. I am the service manager for the top selling York dealer in Central Wisconsin. I have sold other brands of equipment and service all brands. All HVAC manufacturers have some issues with equipment at some point in their history. Some choose to address the problem, some don't. York stands behind their equipment more than any other company I have ever dealt with. We have very few problems with the York equipment we install. The top complaints on here are pressure switches and blowers. Switches very seldom fail, it's often diagnosed as a switch but 90% of the time it's a simple problem that was overlooked. Blower failure is usually caused by bad ductwork, closed or blocked registers, most commonly a dirty air filter. Most manufacturers use the exact same motor. All I can say is choose a reputable company, not the cheapest one and not always the most expensive one. If they know what they are doing from the start, you will have a care free heating or cooling season. Hire someone you can trust not to rip you off with cleanings and repairs, no matter what the brand is and you will be left feeling comfort with your system.

"Your installer sucked"
My York furnace has worked flawlessly every single day I've had it, approximately 8 yrs so far. No issue at all. My utility bills are the lowest I've ever had, even though it's the largest house I've owned so far. I can’t imagine what went wrong with some of the peoples systems. I've seen reviews on here. Have a reputable installer to do the work, and you'll be very happy with York. I am in no way affiliated with York at all. In fact, I hadn't even heard of York, I don't even believe on it until I bought this house. I think there is a lot of slamming here by people with vested interests for other companies. Just my thought.

"Warm"
After twenty one years freezing and constantly spending more money to heat my house, we have installed a York furnace. The house is warm in every room and it is so quiet. We love our new York furnace that was installed. The company that installed it and our new York air conditioning did a neat and wonderful job!

"Love this furnace"
I had my old furnace replace with this new York furnace and I love it. The model I purchased was a high efficiency variable speed type recommended by the contractor. It does a much better job of keeping the house at an even temperature. It runs the fan slower much of the time, but really speeds up sometimes to distribute the heat throughout the house. Also I have seen a definite savings in my gas bills. Unit was also eligible for the tax credit and local rebates. Happy customer!!

"I am a vendor for York-keeprite furnaces and AC's"
I am a York-keeprite unit salesman, and I've noticed that a lot of people have had some really bad experiences with York products, I'm not one to disagree but I am gonna say this, York has improved 99.9% with parts and labor, its 2012, York doesn't disappoint!!

"Great product"
Couldn't find my exact model number in the listings so I picked the closest one... Anyway, we had our furnace installed along with a new heat pump as a hybrid heating system about 5 years ago and couldn't be happier with either piece. The company that put it in is awesome and really knows what they are doing. We have never had any problems with the furnace, and the only issues we have had with any part of the system were a motor (made by ge) and the thermostat (made by Honeywell). Our furnace is an advanced variable speed model that is super quiet and makes the house more comfortable than we ever thought possible based on what we had before. I tell all my friends to buy york, and I will do so again if I ever need a new ac system.

"Excellent Equipment- MADE IN THE USA"
I have to agree with the gentlemen below. We carry a few different brands of equipment. York is our best seller largely because our customers appreciate that this product is built 100% in the usa. One plant in Wichita, ks and the other in Norman, ok. York builds a great product. That said, homeowners that are in the market for new equipment should spend more time finding a quality installation company instead of stressing over brand. Installation, Installation, Installation. It's all that matters. There are few companies that do it right and several that don'T.

"Great furnace"
I Love this unit, We have owned it ten years and not on problem. Before we had a Tempstar unit and loads of problems. We are adding a addition to our house and thought I would look at the York reviews. I was shocked to see so many bad reviews but then I looked at other brands and they all have some horror story. I think we will probably still go with York because of our previous luck with this brand.
