The York G8C Multi Position gas furnace is a (discontinued) furnace that has been replaced by the GG8S and TG8S model groups. The G8C has an acceptable AFUE rating of eighty percent. The government minimum standard AFUE is seventy-eight percent.

The G8C is short, which makes it ideal for installation in small spaces. It can be converted to propane and can also be vented with other gas appliances.

G8C Multiposition Warranty

The warranty for the York G8C includes:

• Twenty years for the heat exchanger

• Five years for other parts

If the G8C is used in a commercial application, the heat exchanger warranty is ten years.

In addition, the warranty applies to the original owner only; it is not transferable to subsequent owners.
