"Thanks for the warnings!"
I need a new a/c because it went out and need to replace since the one I have is 31 years old but from reading all the negative feed backs, I won't be buying a Trane! For those who say that the troubles they are having is because it was due to poor installation or poor ducts, is bull! Maybe one or two complaints but not when you have all this complaints!

"Old way vs. New way"
After reading all of the reviews, I could stand prior to installing a Trane. I must say that it seems obvious that 10-20 years ago, Trane made a great product. By the reviews of the newer models, sounds like they are the same junk from China that everything else is. Bummer. Thanks for the input. I won't be installing a Trane.

"Tane Furnaces"
Trane xl & xr furnaces have 10 year warranties on parts. So if it is under 10 years, you only have to pay for labor. Trane also has the best extended warranties in the industry which covers the labor also. Make sure you are using a Trane Comfort Specialist for any service issues. In California, contractors have to cover the labor for 1 year. That story about a failure in the first month and having to pay $90 sounds fishy.

"CAN YOU SAY "WARRANTY"?"
To all those complaining about spending $800-$1000 dollars the first year or two on repairs, where is your warranty? You would not have paid for any repairs. Please do not be so misleading.

Review:
"Humidity Off"
New Home: Purchased a Trane 100,000 btu 92% Two Stage furnace model tux2c100a9482a, the humidity when it was turned on created a humidity level of 27%(which started to pull all the wood appart). We added a top of the line automatic humidifier that generates an average humidity of 34%. I have to run a portable unit to get the humidity to get the humidty up. Still looking for the answere of why the humidity is low after many calls to Andy's Statewide Installers.
