"Value"
New Trane Furnance installed 8 months ago. Model XV90 with Traneffects air cleaner. Yes, its expensive ... seems about 15% more than a Carrier system. Was sold on the features and service recommendaitons from several sources. Not disappointed. What a quality system. I guess any manufacure can have some problems, but in my experience it's a best buy.

"Don't jump on the Trane!"
Can't wait to sell our furnace from Trane. Has given us so many problems that it's hard to list. Parts are hard to get and expensive. HVAC guys hate them too. Don't jump on the Trane!

"Great Furnance"
Purchased a entire Trane set-up, XC95m Furnance, Tran Clean ffects Aircleaner, Trane Humidifier and Trane X16i A/C. Replaced a Carrier set-up that went bad in 8 years and was nothing but a pain. The difference is amazing, I barely hear it running, gas bill has gone down over 30% and the unit is made like a tank. The temperture swings are none existent, about 1.5 degrees. I had some cold spots in the house in some upper bedrooms which soemhow this system removed. Its expensive, dropped $11,000 which was hard to do, but we prcied other options and a new carrier set-up was the same price and some other lesser known brands were only about $1,500 cheaper. I would make sure you get the best installer you can, its makes all the difference. Make sure they do a load analysis on your house, they found our return ducts too small for the A/C we had and the furnance BTU’s too small for the size of house. We paid the price of javing a poor instaler the last time.

"Almost makes me wish it stays cold"
New XV95 Furnance. Very happy. Quality is top notch, this thing even weighs more than the others. We've had a long and cold winter and this furnace puts my prior furnance to shame. Couldn't be happier, sure it costs a bit more than some others but its worth it. We have a larger house(4,000sqft). This furnace never had a problem, someohow it even got rid of some of the cold spots in the house with creating a bunch of hot spots. Was told this was due to the 2 stage blower being more effective.

"Highly Recommend"
Had this system installed two years ago replacing a Carrier brand system. What a difference! Two completely trouble free years. My Carrier was only 9 years old and the system died. The difference between these two systems is significant (even when the Carrier ran at its best). The Trans is allot less noisy and has completely eliminated the large temperature swings we used to get.

"XV90i great system !"
Needed to replace my system after the current Furnance died. Looked at Lennox, Carrier, Goodman and Trane. Went with Trane based on reputation, installer recommnedation, friends who had Trane at their houses and feature/price comparisons. I liked the Trane fully modulating gas valve and variable speed fan(to maximize both gas savings and comfort). Its not the cheapest system, but I'm willin to pay for the feautures and realiabiloty it offers. Not disappointed. It's been three years w/o any issues, its exceed my expectations - highly recommend.

"Trane Rocks!"
Replaced system with TRANE furnance XV95. Solid as a rock. Quite and efficient. No more blasts of air - keeps temperature constant with very little swings. Also noticed that I no longer get condensation on my windwos from the humidifer(AprilAire). Wish we had this furnance years ago.

"Top Quality"
New furnance installed 2 years ago and works perfectly. I've had probably 5 different furnances in my life: Carrier, York and Lennox. I liked the Lennox, but this Trane is a top quality furnance. I've seen savings in my gas bill and I can almost not hear it run at all. The fully modulating gas was a major reason I went with this model, expecting savings that only that techoogy could offer and was not disappointed. Highly recommended.

"Truly, nothing runs like a Trane!"
This was a replacement furnace in my office building, after a careless manager destroyed the first one though over-use. This is industrially designed, very rugged, and runs beautifully. My only fault with it was the price - but after using it for the better part of a year and through some of the coldest winter weather I've had here I'm satisfied that it was worth it. I haven't yet had to repair it, and it runs day and night without fault. Ours is a large manufacturing facility, and this furnace heats the offices and sales floor. It's been a great product to have, and I'd recommend this brand to anyone who needs high-performance heating.
