Payne Heating and Cooling was founded in 1914 and carries a range of residential cooling and heating products. The Payne PG9M gas furnace is still sold today and the features include:

  • A multipurpose design to allow downflow, upflow or horizontal installation

"Four Payne Furnaces in 2008"
I had four (4) Payne pg9m furnaces installed in the summer of 2008. They went through the 2008/2009 winter without any problems. I am in wi, (in 'light' heating season now) without any problems so far.

PG9M Warranty

The first thing that the owner will need to do is register the product within 90 days of installation on the Payne Registration page. Registration can also be completed by calling 1-888-417-2963.

Payne will cover the furnace against faults due to workmanship or material defects. The furnace must be operating under normal conditions for this aspect to apply.

Warranty to the original purchaser in a single family home will cover 10 years from the installation date (Five years if the product is registered after 90 days). The heat exchange is covered for 20 years.
