"Olsen Replaced Olsen"
I had an Olsen Airco g95v installed 4 years ago. It replaced a 1959 orginal (!!) Olsen furnace. No repairs, no maintenance in the 4 years on the new one. High efficiency furnace (95%), so it blows air that isn't as hot as the old furnaces, but it still heats the place just fine and the gas bills drop a lot.

"Serviced once and still going strong"
Moved into the house in 1995, furnace 9 yrs old at that time. Was last serviced in 1997. Touch wood, it has never given me one iota of problems. Was thinking of replacing it this year because is 26 yrs old now, but after reading here, think I'll just wait awhile longer. I keep the house cool in the winter, about 16*c / 68f (or less) so my dogs are comfortable, and set so it doesn't come on at all in the summer months. No loud noises, fan works fine. Keep the air intake clean. a great product.

I have a 45 year old Olsen(Big Green)furnace. I have owned my house for 13 years and have never had a problem with the furnace! I am looking to upgrade though in order to have peace of mind and cheaper utilities.

I currently have a 22 year old Olsen. It's the original furnace for the house. I've lived here for 6 years now, and the only thing I've had done to the unit is regular cleanings and I had to install a new Ignition Coil last fall ($50). Looking at replacing the unit because of its age. My local Olsen dealer is coming out tomorrow. Hope the price is right :)

Nothing bad to say about Olsen furnace. My house has a 21 year-old unit that works fine. I will only replace it because of the efficiency.

"A great unit"
I am currently in the midst of looking for a furnace to replace my Olsen. I have been in my house for 16 years and, over that time, have had NO trouble whatsoever with the Olsen Ultramax. However, the unit must be near 20 years old and a recent inspection by my serviceman indicates I need to get a new furnace. As I write this, I am getting a week full of estimates from a variety of contractors for many brands of FAG furnaces. So far, I have two quotes, neither of them Olsen. This afternoon it hit me: why am I looking for some other brand when the Olsen has been so good to me? Later this week, a contractor who sells and installs Olsen will be here to give a quote. If he has what I need (2-stage, ECM fan motor, 95% or better AFUE, etc.) and the price is reasonable for all that I want and need, he will get my business. The experiences of other Olsen owners would be appreciated, especially in regard to the newer, 2-stage, etc., units.

I installed my g95v 95% two stage in our home 2 years ago. Our winter heating gas bills were cut in half and the two speed variable speed motor kept our house consistantly warm all winter long. The first summer after the install was fairly cool so we did not use our central air conditioning much, however the summer of 2010 was just the opposite. The two stage ecm motor on the furnace help keep our home gently cool throughout the summer months. I would recoomend this furnace to freinds and family.

I had an Olsen g95v furnace installed in my house last winter. It is a very quiet running unit that was installed in a matter of hours. Olsen furnaces were recommended to me through a friend and I am happy with my decision.
