"NEVER EVER AGAIN"
After SEVEN tranformers blowing up... yes BLOWING-UP ---the contactor and the company were are a loss as to why we thought their furnace was a peice of crap. The exploding tranformers contaminated the house with PCB's in the tranformer. Had the whole furnace unit torn out and put in a competitors unit, but had to scrub down the contaminated walls, floor and ceiling, and had to replace carpet. This company produces an UGLY UNRELIABLE UNIT

"Not happy with Lennox"
I had an expensive 90% efficient Lennox furnace installed. The Lennox Elite series. I'm very unhappy with this unit. The burn sensor has to be cleaned virtually every heating season and now today I had to replace the entire circuit board to the tune of about $500.00! Five hundred dollars for a circuit board? ....I can buy a new laptop computer for that amount of money! The furnace is only 4 years old. If you're looking for a long term furnace, I would not recommend Lennox! It seems that Lennox is in the business of selling overpriced replacement parts rather than high quality furnaces.

"G61MPV-36C-090"
I had two Lennox g61mpv units installed at two locations within four months of each other. Today I had to replace the inducer motor in one and two weeks ago the same moror was replaced on the other unit. At a cost of $235 for labour, I am not impressed. Lennox attitude, so sad, but too bad, we cover the part under warranty, but not labour. If one motor failed I could accept that, but two within weeks of each other, I would say Lennox has a problem their not telling their customers about. I tried calling Lennox and after 30 minute wait on long distance, I got no where. They do not even have an e-mail address that one can contact them on. This is the third time I have had to call Lennox re a problem and the third time they failed to respond. Lennox has a long way to go to improve on their customer service and satisfaction. I really hope someone from Lennox reviews these stories and takes note!

"Electronic Air Cleaner EAC-14-3"
The unit seems to work, but Lennox as a Company STINKS! My electronic air cleaner installed by the builder's contractor, whom ever, did not mark the two slide-in units with 'A' & 'B' as is the box containing them. Now no one at Lennox in the U.S. or Canada is accepting my question as to which unit goes in first. They are defering me to their dealers. Most of thweir dealers in my area don't answer the phone, and the one that did want to charge a service call! I don't think Lennox knows anything about customer service! No wonder most of my neihbours have a different sysytem.

"G61MPV moneypit"
I own a Lennox g61mpv, for just over 6 years. 9 service calls in that time. I have replaced the igniter twice in the same year, part was not warrantied even though it was less than 8 months old. Just replaced the inducer motor today, which I'm told was recalled for the same condition ours had (cracked plastic housing?), but in our case did not apply...? Repair costs over $900 so far this year, just out of warranty. Purchased a Lennox because I thought they would have figured it out after their Pulse furnace fiasco. I guess not! I know now, to turn on the oven and open the door, as a back up to the G61MPV. Get a good oven!

"Secret Recall"
I have a g71mpp 070 that was installed about 18 months ago. The heat exchanger failed in the first year. I have found out the Lennox knows about the problem with the metal in their g71mpp but will only deal with it as complaints are submitted. This poses a serious safety issue and should result in a recall of the g71mpp. Before the fall I will be removing this furnace for my piece of mind.

Review:
"Junk! Terrible installation!"
Lennox furnace and AC installed in 2002. AC fine but furnace is a piece of junk having had 3 control panels, numerous new wiring, flame sensor, 2 thermostats, anything to try and find the problem in the past 2 years. Replaced last week with new Amana 95%. Many mistakes in installation found when disassembling the Lennox. It is all in the installation after much research and educating myself on furance and AC before purchase. My new furnace, wiring, gas line, etc. now looks like a well organized piece of machinery. The old Lennox looked like a hodge-podge of wiring, unlevel metal, filter eating sheet metal and pipes everywhere.

Review:
"lennox furnace/AC blower motor failure"
One year out of warranty, the blower stops working. Here we sit making buckets of sweat. The replacement motor is five days away, at least. Not only that it is going to cost $800, this is a top of the line unit from the (so-called) best AC maker in the business. Is this a shafting or what?

"PROBLEMS"
I had a Lennox g60 installed on 2/14/2010. It took 4 hours to raise the tempature 2 degrees. The fan starts and there is a bang sound on each phase. The fan sounds like a small jet engine and has a very high velocity. We have had 4 service calls to correct the problems. The last time the serviceman said we would have to adapt to the sound and the bang and told me I needed a new air conditioner and he could install it today 5/26/2010. I was in out of town in Springfield and asked him why would I buy a Lennox air conditioner when the furnace is not functioning and it wakes me up at 2am in the morning.
