"Lennox - a breath of fresh quality!"
Had a Bryant high-efficiency furnace that experience several failures and finally a secondary heat exchanger that went bad. Rather than accept a small manufacturer discount for replacing, we switched to a Lennox two-stage variable high-efficiency. What a world of difference! Quieter, no repairs to date, easier to maintain. Per discussions with various techs, Lennox incorporate many small differences that combine to deliver a superior product overall. After three years, we can say with confidence that this unit is far superior. Some friends just had a Lennox installed and are equally happy.

"My Lennox is the best ever made"
31 year old Lennox (November 1979) gas furnace 100,000 btu, serviced every year, no repairs of any kind. Just this year, they cleaned the burners for the first time. No cracked heat exchanger etc. The blower motor is also used a lot for AC. I can't believe it is still working so well. Quiet as a mouse. It seems they don't make them like they used to. I bet most of the parts are Chinese now. Based on what people are saying, I fear having to buy a new furnace.

"Lennox Pulse furnace (G14)"
This unit is an 80k btu unit installed in a 2000 sq.ft., 150 year-old, home in 1987. The previous owner replaced the control board in the mid 90's, and just recently the exhaust trap became fouled. A relatively minor repair. This unit has been so reliable and efficient that I am hesitant to replace it. I can't see a large capital expenditure for such a small increase in efficiency. The only minor complaint is the noise that the old pulse furnaces make. All the same, I hope to repair it until it is absolutely shot, at which time I will replace it with a two-stage unit. We added a Bryant AC unit a few years ago and the system seems well sized and was well installed as it runs and works very well together.

"Lennox G26 High Efficient Furnace"
This furnace replaced our old g-14 Pulse on warranty. We were given the option back then at the time (due to the lifetime Limited Warranty), to either replace the heat exchanger or get a whole new furnace. The g-14 we had lasted a good 25 years. This one, we have now is at least 10 years now and there was not one single malfunction with it yet. We replaced our A/c unit about 6 years ago. The old one lasted 30 years (it had r12 refrigerant). As posted above, the unit is only as good as whoever installed it and whether they had adequate training or knowledge at the time. I'm very pleased with Lennox. It is one of the superior brands out there. They own Armstrong, Ducane and Air-flow. I would also like to point out that they are no way as bad as Olsen or Carrier, which are the lower brands in the scale. Now in Canada, the only furnace you can buy by law has to be 90% or higher efficiency. I hear Lennox is working on producing a new 98% efficient furnace. Hopefully, they can take the knowledge from the old G-14 and put it to good use. Currently their newer furnaces, G51, G61, G 61MPV, G71MPV are one of the quietest and most efficient furnaces in the market.

"Best furnace on the market. Hands down!!"
I bought the g71 modulating furnace 3 years ago and I have never been happier. Had a Carrier Weathermaker before. My last furnace had problems every year and was very expensive to fix. And with Carrier having heat exchanger lawsuits against them, I decided to change. The new g71 is so quiet, I can't even here the furnace run. It also gives me much better comfort. More even temperatures through out my 2 storey house. The company in Chatham (Postma) did a great job. It looks very neat. I always do my research on products and know that I bought the best comfort for my family.

"Lennox - great units"
On our campus, we have many locations where we can only use residential units because of how the spaces were designed. Both Lennox and Trane are very comparable in both performance and quality. The one truism in the industry is that the unit is only as good as the installer. Noises and problems can occur when people who don't know what they're doing (or don't care) perform the install. We've only had one problem in all off our 14 units, in the past six years. That was a failed circuit board that Lennox replaced. The best thing about Lennox is that a tech can call them and actually get them on the phone.

"I love my furnace!"
We purchased a new Lennox furnace a year ago when we moved into my grandparents home. We found that my grandparents furnace was over 50 years old. It was still running fine. It was loud though and we felt not very energy efficient as it was so old. We decided to purchase another Lennox considering how long the old one lasted. We are thoroughly satisfied with our furnace and the company we bought it from. Our heating and electric bill went from $272 a month with the old furnace down to $78 a month with the new one. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Lennox to anyone. Also anyone that lives in Northern Indiana should definitely check out Cook Heating and Air. We couldn't be happier giving them our business.

Moved into my new home in 1974 with a Lennox g11q3e-110v gas furnace. Living in Minnesota, I have only replaced the blower motor once and the thermal probe once in all these years. After reading all these reviews online because I'm going to finally replace it with a more efficient unit, there seems to be negative remarks about all brands. Now, I am not sure the newer models out now are as well built as they were years ago. What's happening with the newer technology out there? Are we going in reverse?!!!

"Lennox G32V"
Installed in our new home (we actually have 2 systems). Very pleased! Never have had a service call, but do have the installer come back twice a year for heat/cool maintanance. Variable speed blower is great!

As with any product that needs to be properly installed, the installers quality will greatly affect the furnace performance and operation. When there's a problem, the consumer and many times the installer want to put blame on manufacture... More times than not, it is the installer who created the problems.
