"poor warranty"
Our Lennox signature Stat went dark. It seems to work but I cant see the letters well if at all. The dealer wants $90 for a service call to look at it. They cant tell me if they will charge me for multiple calls if it is replaced under warranty and they have to come back after it arrives. I called Lennox. They will not replace it even if it is under warranty. Bottom line, NO SUPPORT direct to the consumer. I am in a bind. I will spend more money to fix the problem that stems from a defective Stat. Not happy! Last time for Lennox.

"Horrible Furnance: Do not buy them"
I bought a new home in 2006 in PA with a Lennox gas furnace installed in it. Within three years of the purchase of our home, the furnace shut down. The tech that do business for Lennox came more than ten times, and each time, the diagnosis was not right. They changed everything they could, and after so many trys the furnace survived. This year, less than a year later, last month, the furnace shut down once more. We have been repairing the furnace for a month now, replacing pipes, cleaning the pipes, replacing valves, changing the switches that are triggered off, etc. etc. It seems the repair people are in business with the company just so they can stall any need for replacement until the warranty runs out. Don't know what to do now. The house is less than five years old.

"G32V-75 high efficiency"
I bought this furnace in fall of 2001. It ran alright for about 8 years and has been a nightmare since. The tech did a tune up cleaning in fall of 2009 and the DC motor was replaced 5 months later. Now the furnace cycles on and off and the tech is puzzled as to what the problem might be. Apparently comes with 3 different circuit boards of which any , none or all might be the problem. In any event, it will add up to many more $. The motor was $785 including service calls. So much for saving money because of the high efficiency tag. Would I want another Lennox furnace? Absolutely not!

"Brrrrrr... cold in here!"
What happened to getting what you paid for? These overpriced furnaces are a hoax. Do not buy a Lennox unless you enjoy unreliability and have nothing better to spend your money on than expensive replacement parts.

"hm-61/complete heat"
Biggest POS ever. The wife and I decided that since we live in Alaska and the heater we had was old and less efficient, we would replace with something newer to avoid future problems. Big mistake. Spent 8K for the system and nothing but problems. We have owned the system for 7 years. Igniter replaced approx 7 times, pressure switch replaced 5 times, gas valve replaced 1 time, burner required cleaning 2 times, control unit replaced. Numerous other service calls for no heat and other misc problems. We could have bought another system with all the money we spent on service calls. The problems seemed to always happen during the winter months when demand was highest and when you could least afford the unit to have problems. According to the service guys and dealer management, LENNOX knew this system was a piece of crap and sold hundreds in my state alone. Additionally, when they started having problems with the sytems, they continued to sell them and refused to back up the dealerships with any warranty support. In turn, the dealers were losing money and refused to sell the units. I talked to the management at several levels and got nowhere. I guess I'm stuck with it. It seems they make them to break and service is not cheap. Scary though, because as I research replacements, I'm finding that there are not many highly rated systems that are dependable. If someone has the bucks, the heating and air conditioning business arena could use a company that has a system that can be depended upon. PS. Seems many of the systems are made by the same manufactures under different names. Good luck.

"commerical heating/cooling unit"
We purchased a commercial heating/cooling unit 3 years ago and it has not worked properly from the day it was installed. It begain heating and cooling at the same time. That was finally fixed but every spring and winter we have to have a repair man out to look at it. We have spent as much on service calls as we did the unit it's self, which wasn't cheap by any means. No one has been able to get it working properly or as of November 2010 at all. We have not been able to get any satisfaction from this company and the company we purchased the unit from jerked us around until the warrenty expired. I would NEVER recommend this company or it's product to anyone. I hate to give anyone a bad review but after freezing the last couple of months and dealing with nothing but problems the last 3 years I'm done with begging for it to be fixed. Is it too much to ask for a product to work? We have installed a used 20 year old heater that is working circles around this unit. Highly recommend that you look somewhere else for your heating and cooling needs.

"Lennox Sucks"
4 years ago we installed a lennox g61 mp furnace. Nothing but trouble. The furnace just wont ignite. it goes through the cycles and I have to reset the darn thing every day many times wake up to a freezing house changed the thermostat. I have had 3 service calls and 3 different opinions. When you call the service companies they come quick stay 1 hour tell us its fixed and give you a bill for 200 bucks. My next step contact Lennox Texas. theres better than lennox out there Do not waste you hard earned dollars.

"Cost Effective"
Very cost effective furnace, mainly because it does not work. Installed 6-06, starting in 10-09 it would just quit no reason and has continued this until now 16 months. 33 services calls to company they are baffled no charge to me. Time for an attorney or new furnace. Biggest pos I have ever seen. Lennox G51MP

"Premature part failure"
I had a new Lennox (G60 series) installed 18 months ago and have just had to have a flame sensor replaced. What happened to furnaces that you replaced and the only thing you had to do was change the filter every 3 months or so? Of course, when you call out a service technician he has to give you the whole "tune-up" treatment costing over $150. Why does a modern piece of equipment with no moving parts require a tune-up?
