"Crap Crap Crap"
This furnace was installed in 2003 and had nothing but problems for the last couple years. It goes out once or twice a year. Ive had two diffrent companies come out and fix it and each time they said it just needed some dust cleaned out of it. Then the furnace quits again a few days after they leave. No one has been able to fix this piece of crap for maore than a few months. If it wasnt for the summer months and having it shut down, it would be broke 4-5 times a year. Dont buy a Lennox, everyone including myself will say its a piece of crap.

"Lennox Furnace & AC"
The furnace & a/c unit was installed 13 yrs ago in my home. I was very pleased with the results from my Lennox products, That 1 week ago I decided to upgrade to high efficient AC & Furnace . This was a mistake as Lennox seems to have lost there great rep with the consumers. I can not believe the companys that lenox allows to install there products . I have had nothing but a hard time trying to get the units installed properly, piping was wrong ( Had to be reinstalled ). The Lennox rep did not change the breakers , that is required from 60 amp to 40 amp. The installation was terrible , and I have had nothing but issues having it installed properly. After it was installed , the piping is leaking water all over the fuenace unit . I will never buy another Lennox product , this unit was high priced compared to Carrier etc .

"Lennox Heat Pump"
I have lived in my home since Feb. 2006 (it was brand new). Last year the compressor went out on my Lennox heat pump and cost me $1,000 in labor costs to install a new one. The heat pump carries a 10-year warranty so was replaced for "free" but the $1,000 was what got me. Now I'm waiting for the air conditioner guy to come out because I'm having the exact same problem this year. If it costs me another $1,000 I'm suing Lennox. They obviously have a defective product and the consumer should not have to pay for that. I also filed a complaint last year with the bbb in Texas when Lennox is located, but their response was the same form letter to the bbb that they had already sent to me. This year I'm not going to roll over, fork out the money and play dead. We'll see what happens after tomorrow.

Had a new 4ton Lennox Heat pump and ahu installed. First year indoor fan went out and outdoor fan shortly after. Second year Heating element shorted out and burned up, and Compressor just went out (sounds like a garbage disposer) spent alot of money for a name but not quality Dont make same mistake. Iam replacing outdoor unit with a new Maytag!

"12 years & counting"
Complete Heat system to replace old Williamson furnace & a/c & water heater. I've replaced 2 circulation pumps (about $100 on eBay, 4 screws 2 wires and prime - easy) and been very happy with the system. I've heard these have problems, and they are complex systems. When I replace it I'll probably go with a tankless water heater and a all electric heat pump.

"Furnace from Hell"
When I built my house in 1997 I installed a Lennox Elite g26. It has never worked for more than a few months at a time and has never made it through an entire heating season. Two circuit boards, heat exchanger, fan motor have all been replaced. Last year a wiring harness caught fire due to a short in a plugged connection. For the first 10 years the dealer replaced the parts and fixed it at no charge to me. Each time it was fixed we thought that would be the end of our trouble, only to have it go out again in a few months. Now they want to charge to fix it. It broke this past January, cost me almost $200 to fix it. Now in April it is leaking exhaust fumes into the house setting off carbon monoxide detector, so we shut it off. I have had it and won't pay to fix this lemon. We asked Lennox to give us a new furnace, no reply as of yet.

"Lennox is junk and they don't care"
Over the past 13 years we have had five different Lennox boilers in our home. The first three were the notorious Complet Heat units. We finally "upgraded" to the gwb9-ih which developed 2 leaks within five years. The President, Doug Young passed my letter complaining that Lennox wouldn't cover labor costs to replace last unit on to Customer Service which passed it on to the local sales office which told me to fly a kite. My second letter to Young was just ignored. Another once great company in the hands of drones who don't care about customer satisfaction or the quality of their products.

"Lennox PulseFnce"
The furnace was installed in the house in Mar. 1987 so is now 22 years old!It is a Lennox Pulse unit model b1 403 80 c5. We have had regular inspections and a Lennox heat exchanger check done over the period. No major problems found - minor repair costs. Same unit fitted in neighbours home (same age) failed? In Feb 2009 - condenser leaking excess water - failed by inspecting technician and replaced by new g61v unit - 90k Btu'S. Looking to replace my unit with similar g61v or even the g71v unit. Some of the reviews seen on newer Lennox furnaces are worrying though. I am being told that the installing engineer is as important as the unit that you buy!!

Review:
"HM30 Pice of crap!"
I will never, ever purchase another Lennox product, even if the new ones are better than the very poorly thought out hm30 Complete Heat I have in my house. I bought the house in fall of 2002. The hm30 had been installed in June 95. EVERY single year I have had a failure of $500 or more with this peice of crap. Now today, I have yet another $477 bill for a simple flow pump on the heat coil, that jammed because the plastic impeller broke apart. The impeller cannot be replaced, only the entire pump. What should be a $10 impeller is permanently attached to the $375+ pump. I have had a water tank failure, another flow pump failure, copper corrosion problems, a relay failed on the control board (which of course means a WHOLE new control board, there is corrosion on every steel, metal, aluminum and die cast part in the burner area of the water tank. Yet with every failure, the local Lennox shop has the part in stock! Even the stainless steel water tank! If you have a Lennox HM30 in your house, GET RID OF IT as soon as you can. Even one of the Lennox repairmen said if it was his house, he'd get rid of it! I have a form from Lennox to file a complaint.

"Lennox High Efficiency Furnace"
High efficiency furnaces in older houses are a big mistake!! My house is now full of moisture, thick ice on all the windows in winter, and mold is forming on the walls. Furnace does not take any moisture out of the house, it adds moisture in. I have heard dozens of horror stories from others too. If you want to install a High Efficiency furnace, first replace all your windows and doors, seal up all cracks, reinsulate ceiling and walls and then install an air exchanger and a dehumidifier. Then install the new high efficiency furnace. Wish I had known that before.
