We had installed lennox slp98 high efficiency furnace for 2 years and it's very quiet furnace, it work very good condition, save a lot of money compare to my old Lennox Furnace. It's 98% High efficiency, and it was top of rate on the market. We are very satisfied for Lennox Furnace that we have been used for 30 years.

"Ed Engle (ASTAR) came through to repair my furnace"
Through initial miscommunication I wrote a very negative review about my Lennon furnace install and sold by astar. Company owner Ed Engle got involved and called and came to my home on a Saturday to supervise the repair of my furnace and personally speak to me about the repair. Ed and his staff did an excellent job repairing my furnace. Thank you Ed for taking the bull by the horns and working with me and your staff to once again restore my faith in your company and your product.

"Pulse 21 works great. g21"
G21 pulse 21 been in home for 14 years and still going strong. Dealers want to change it out but there are a lot of parts on the market. Don't let these shady dealers try to take away a good furnace from you.

"Well made UNIT"
Okay so I bought this unit from my boss. I am a qualified gas fitter and I do work on Lennox products. Before I worked on them I was working on American Standard/Trane(Same furnace just different badge). Lennox is well made American product. The thing with gas fired appliances they still need to be maintained. Myself being a gas fitter that works on these unit would recommend this furnace if you are looking to maintain it.

"Been a good furnace"
I have had no problems until now after 10 years. The combustion blower motor went out. A reasonably priced replacement can be easily found many places on the Internet. My first concern was a circuit board failure when the furnace was installed because I kept hearing of other peoples furnaces failing from dead circuit boards. Not this one. A tip a Lennox dealer said was to blow out the small tube from behind the top access door. Pull off the tube from the left rubber piece and blow into the tube. a 't' fitting can plug and cause water to get in the fan area causing failure. I suggest pouring a lean bleach mixture into the tube and flushing it if repeated problems occur.

"Still working"
We have a 20 year old Lennox that still works fine. The only problem is that it is not a late high efficiency model. We used to have a Carrier in our old house by the time it was 5 years old, we had to have it fixed every other year.

"Review of my furnace"
I've owned this furnace since buying the house which was 6 years ago, I have never had a specific preference for furnaces nor had I even bothered to care for one until being a home owner. I like that it has been very low maintenance and so far has only required filter changes; it also consumes very little gas, keeps the house warm, the unit itself does not get hot on any exposed panels. The unit is very quiet and produces no noticeable noise. The only outside service that I have had done through a local heating and cooling company is a yearly inspection and cleaning of the entire unit, a temperature and pressure test, have the technician check the electrical system and to make sure the gas connections were safe, all of which was less than $100. I would buy the same brand again and recommend it to my friends for sure, unless it destroyed my house, hurt someone or caused a fire.

"Lennox High Efficiency Furnace Lives up to its Reputation"
I've had this Lennox G51 single stage high efficiency furnace (92%) for four years. It replaced a furnace that was installed in about 1970, which was probably no better than 65% efficient. Obviously I am extremely pleased with the savings in fuel (both cost wise and environmentally). It is quiet and moves air well, keeping the house evenly warm in winter without the drafts caused by the previous furnace (which did not regulate its temperature well, in that it kept blowing air that was not heated, and took a long time to come on as the temperature dropped). This Lennox furnace, however, seems to respond in a very sensitive way to the changing temperatures in winter and comes on when needed and turns off before cold air starts blowing. I have never had any problems with the furnace at all except the second time I turned it on after installation. The installers returned and found a mistake in their own electrical wiring, but nothing wrong with the furnace itself. I would definitely recommend this furnace to others looking to upgrade to a product that is more efficient. It has definitely been a good value.

"Merit 80%"
Had a complete Lennox furnace and ac put in by a qualified company that has been around for years, they are so confident in their equipment they put a 15 year parts and labor warranty on the units. These are very quiet you almost can't hear them run. Great product. I do believe that like everything furnaces do break down however most of the issues are due to not being sized or installed properly. Furnaces do require the technician to set the limits and fan speeds based on your return and duct work. Improper set up will cause premature failure in critical components.
