"Lennox Sucks"
4 years ago we installed a lennox g61 mp furnace. Nothing but trouble. The furnace just wont ignite. it goes through the cycles and I have to reset the darn thing every day many times wake up to a freezing house changed the thermostat. I have had 3 service calls and 3 different opinions. When you call the service companies they come quick stay 1 hour tell us its fixed and give you a bill for 200 bucks. My next step contact Lennox Texas. theres better than lennox out there Do not waste you hard earned dollars.

"heating and air unit"
This marks the second year our lennox heat pump has failed in the winter. Lennox does not cover anything but parts no labor or estimates last year this cost us over $900 to get this warrantied item repaired and now we are in the same boat we have only lived in this new house for 4 years now and this weill the 2nd time for this again I would not recommend lennox for anything at this point and lennox needs to back there products which they do not!!!!

"Cost Effective"
Very cost effective furnace, mainly because it does not work. Installed 6-06, starting in 10-09 it would just quit no reason and has continued this until now 16 months. 33 services calls to company they are baffled no charge to me. Time for an attorney or new furnace. Biggest pos I have ever seen. Lennox G51MP

"Best purchase I have ever made"
I was an installer for lennox for a couple of years and I have now totally changed careers but that is besides the point. My slp98v furnace is the best purchase I have ever made, it runs great and never know its even running. I am a strong believer of lennox products and lennox only because to me they are built the best and lennox I feel is always one step beyond everyone else. now a furnace is much like a new vehicle on the market, if you buy something that is brand new and they havent yet been able to work out any of the kinks in the model you may have problems but that is a risk you must take to get quality and reliability! Best part is if something breaks on a new model and it is to do with a fault, it will be covered by warranty. so dont complain and relax you people.

"Premature part failure"
I had a new Lennox (G60 series) installed 18 months ago and have just had to have a flame sensor replaced. What happened to furnaces that you replaced and the only thing you had to do was change the filter every 3 months or so? Of course, when you call out a service technician he has to give you the whole "tune-up" treatment costing over $150. Why does a modern piece of equipment with no moving parts require a tune-up?

"Two thumbs down"
I am a service and repair Tech for about 15 years and I can tell you Be carful when purchasing lennox equipment they dont build em like they used to.First of all they make a mass production of low grade equipment(builders models) and they are crap.Parts are verry expensive and hard to come by lennox is verry protective of theyre parts most contractors have to go through a middle man to get parts which increase overall cost to the consumer. The high end Lennox stuff isnt too bad but still repair costs are at least double that of most other brands. Most reveiws here look like they have been written by Lennox dealers. Overall No matter what brand you purchase Buy High end High efficency Equipment Manufactured with a little more care than mass production on the asembly line. You Get what you pay for

"Lennox G61"
Three years old and lots of problems the past two years (fan blower motor replaced, low fire switch, miscellaneous stoppages of undetermined origin). One problem is that parts have to flown in to Vancouver (population several million)and you go without heat for 3-4 days until they get them and then they schedule an installation. This obviously is not a very good situation in cold weather.

"Inducer Motor"
i have lost track of how many inducer motor/fans that I have had to replace in the ten and one half years since this furnace was installed. Four or five. What I do is buy one unit to keep on hand for when the next time it comes to replace the motor. I buy them on Amazon. Now planning to replace furnace with a different brand.

"JUNK"
Every winter the ignitor system fails. Many have said that theirs works until it gets too cold outside (which is when we need it the most!) You can expect no support from Lennox, they already got your money.
