"Electric furnace"
Had a Janitrol electric furnace put in my house in 1973 when the house was built (all electric home)---cannot speak good enough about it--have only replaced the coils once--have never had one problem with it--at the present the a/c is wearing out and needs to be replaced---the only problem is living in a small rural community and should help be needed due to problems I have to contact someone 60 miles away----some people have never heard of Janitrol--can not complain.

"Happy camper"
Bought their top of the line gas furnace when we built this house and the igniter is the only thing that has quit, twice. Replacement parts are getting hard to find though.

"Reliable"
Furnace is very reliable with only a fan motor and ignitor replaced in 13 years. Can't complain as items are wear and tear and nothing to do with quality of furnace. You have to expect something to wear out after 10 years. Only thing I don't like is high price of propane and fluctuating prices, but I don't know if electric or heat pump would be any cheaper.

"janitrol"
My furnace is over 20 years old. Since I bought my house, for 11 years, never had problems with furnace (did not even know that I need to change/clean filters - I know it is bad). Looking to upgrade now (this one burns to much $$$) But looking at the reviews here it seems that janitrol original quality is not there anymore :(((

"Janitrol 80+ Gas Furance"
In 23 years I only had to replace the stepdown transformer ($23.00) that supply power to the control board. Ever since its been working great, I would buy another one.

"Lorraine"
This furnace has been in my house for over 50 years and it is still working great. I bet this would be good advertising. All the plumbers say I should buy a new one, but why fix something that is not broken and it work great for 50+ years. If something does go wrong I would need to find someone with 50+ year old parts. "Great Furnace\AC"
I have had a Janitrol Furnace in my house for over 14 years and never had a problem with it. In addition to having one for my personal use, I have installed many Janitrol furnaces\A/C's over the past 10 or so years. I have had a few call-backs, but Janitrol's (Goodman's) service was always satisfactory and they fixed the problem in a timely matter. I wouldn't hesitate one second at putting in a Janitrol (now Goodman) furnace.

"Janitrol downflow Furnace"
This Janitrol furnace was installed in my house in 1958 when it was built. We are still using it. We had a central a/c unit installed in it in 1977 from Sears and it is still in operation and doing well.
