"Sophistcated Simple System"
I am a Project Manager with a Senior Housing Company. We have 5 (yes five) Munchkin boilers in two of our buildings North of Milwaukee, WI. The reviews I've read all seem to say the same thing! You must hire a trained HVAC contract for the install. Our contractor was from the Madison area; only one who answered key questions properly. The other most important issue is "owners" must follow scheduled maintenance on complete system to keep boilers functioning at their optimum.

"Very Happy wiht Boiler"
I had one of these units install by a contractor who claims to be very knowlegable in heating. He sure is. I have not had one problem in 8 years. He has come back 4 times to do a "service" on the unit, he can look at the circuit board with his computer, and there has never been a fault code. I dont know what all you people are crying about. Maybe you have less than quality installers. I got to this web site because I had told a friend to put one in and he sent me here. I am just letting you all know my two cents worth. The product is only as good as the installer, I had a great one!!!!

I have a small 80mbh Munchkin boiler heating a 4000 sq ft shop! The most efficient, quietest unit on the market. I have installed over 20-30 of these boilers, I have had an occasional problem, they were are installer problems! I guarantee you most of the complaints that people put on these websites, are due to them choosing an unqualified contractor! Word of advice, quit worrying about the brand, Investigate the contractor, quit buying from the cheapest guy!!!!!!!!!!
