Heat Controller, Inc, manufactures a series of non-condensing gas furnaces with an 80% AFUE rating. The GMUH series is made in upflow/horizontal and downflow configurations. The series is 34 inches tall, and can be easily installed in tight spots. Custom installation options, such as left or right side gas, or electric and condensate drain connection, are also available.

This product line features quiet combustion and uses a direct spark ignition, draft inducer motor, and slow-opening gas value. The GMUH series can also be converted to propane by changing burners. It comes with a variety of accessories for upflow models including internal and external filter racks, twinning kits, a coil cabinet, among other related items.

The Heat Controller GMUH series is usually marketed under the brand name Comfort-Aire.

GMUH Warranty

The GMUH series is equipped with a 20-year heat exchanger warranty and a 12-year warranty on parts. Products must be registered by either mailing in a registration card or registering online within 90 days of purchase. Customers must also provide a receipt of purchase to prove their within the warranty period. Additional coverage is available through extended service agreements.
