"Very Pleased with product."
I have a 95plus dual fuel. I love it. No sound problem like others have claimed. Gas bill is way down, house is nice and warm in winter, cool in summer. What gives?????? Are you people looking for a handout, sympathy???? Oh I get it, your from the "ME" generation. Do your research on the product, but more importantly the installer. If you think its a bad product, go some were else and pay three times the price. Otherwise, shut the heck up. I like my heating system. Its quiet, its efficient, and it comes with the leading warranty in the field. (I did my research). I wanted a Train, (good systems) but found out that the Goodman was actualy better. People you get what you pay for. And I would highly recomend doing your research on your installer, AGAIN, I REALLY LOVE MY GOODMAN SYSTEM.

"good furnace good price"
I just had a Goodman high efficiency furnace installed in my house to replace the old one after 19 years. My heating contractor did a great job and it runs great. You can't beat it for price and quality. Just make sure that the air intake and flue pipe are installed with 3 inch PVC pipe and not just 2 inch -- installation is the key to the life of these furnaces.

"95% variable speed a winner"
Had a Goodman gmvc95070 installed last fall. Gas bills way down from old 80% furnace, and because the furnace has a high and low fire rate, it matches the heating needs of my house and is very comfortable. Very quiet as well. Dealer said all manufacturers make good furnaces because they are highly regulated. The key is the installer. Bad install will screw up any furnace.

Have had excellent service from my Goodman GMV furnace for 4 years. Just routine annual clean and check. This furnace came with the longest warranty and more advanced features such as the ECM motor and two stage heating at aprice that was very competitive.

"Good Product-Be careful of cheap installers"
I had a goodman GMH950703bx installed Oct. 2010. Installed price was $1200. I paid $280 more to have ac coil added. Will have Ac unit next summer. Ran great until weather got real cold. It would run for about 10 minutes then shut down. I figured out that one of the drain lines was installed on the wrong side of the drain pan. It must be installed on the same side as the outside drain trap. It caused the vacuum hose going to one of the saftey switches to be blocked with water and thus disrupting the electrical conection. I corrected it and the furnace has been great ever since. Good product bad install. I also purchased Amana(Goodman) amvc950453bx for another house two weeks later, same installer. Top of the line Goodman. all Stainless heat exchanger and electronic variable speed blower. It works great & very quiet. It has all Emerson electronics, yes made in China. I took a amp reading of the fan motor and it was 52 watts! Bottom line is find a good installer that will give you a deal on a Goodman because it costs him less money. "professional"
I own a plumbing and heating company and install goodman now. I have installed luxaire, rheem, armstrong, trane and gibson in the past. Goodman by far surpasses those brands in my experiences. I have over 200 installed this year and have had only 1 bad ignitor. I think a lot of the problems with any furnace is installation. Don't be afraid to buy goodman just research the installer as much as the furnace.

"HVAC"
I am a installer and service technician that works and lives in Toronto,Canada.I have been in this business for 25 plus years.I can tell you that I serviced and installed all brands of furnaces each had their problems.I can also tell you how many times the reason for repair or service is that the installer did a crappy install.Does not set up the furnace as per manufactures spec...etc.These new furnaces are not plug and play. The installer should know how to set up your furnace according to your home and duct work etc.. I would say 95% dont because most are subcontractors that want to get in and get out fast as long as the customer feels the heat and or cooling he assumes he has done his job. Does not matter if its a large company or small make sure you know the persons qualifications that is going to do your job dont be afraid to ask.You can save yourself a lot of headaches. Please dont go with the cheapest company this usually means disaster. The old saying pay now or pay later still applies. So before you bash any furnace make sure you check out your installer because really this is one of the most important factors.
