"nothing but problems"
This furnace is not even 7 years old. I have had nothing but problems. Within 2 weeks the control panel fried....of course not covered. I have had the heat filament replaced 3 times the heat exchange once the heat sensor twice. It never lights consistently. I have had no customer satisfaction.

"Complete Garbage"
This thing breaks nearly once every year no joke. If I had the money this thing would have been on the curb years ago. It's the biggest piece of junk and I have absolutely nothing good to say about it. "Very unsatisfied" doesn't even begin to describe how unreliable this thing is. The only thing worse is their customer service when you call. They tried to talk me through fixing it but their repairman couldn't have been more rude or unhelpful. Oh but they can send someone out which I'm sure costs a bunch. I'll never ever buy a house or live anywhere with this piece of junk in it.

"Very Happy With Goodman"
I have rental houses and have been putting in Goodman furnaces and a/c since 2002. I have put in 8 furnaces and 7 a/c's and have only had one service call in all those years. The circuit board was bad. We had several lightning storms that summer and I think it was hit by lightning. Goodman covered the board and I paid for a service call. I have a Goodman in my house also and have saved a fortune on my utility bills. I am very pleased with Goodman and have recommended them to everyone. I have a hard time believing all the negative reviews posted on this site. I'm glad I know from experience that Goodman makes a quality product. If I had read the reviews on this site I probably wouldn't have bought a Goodman but after multiple units and many years of trouble free service Goodman is the brand I will continue to buy.

"Just a piece of crap!!!"
It is the worst piece of crap ever. Had it five years the first year ok but every year after that it had to be fixed, every year it was broke. My mother had a furnace for over 40 years with very little maintenance and as far as I know it still works for the new owners. Goodman is a furnace that I would never buy again! I would get a wood burning stove first.... Would never recommend it to anyone!!!!

"Electrician"
Without doubt absolutely the worst blower motor I've seen In thirty years. a cheap chinese motor, junk. This furnace is five years old, and the bearings are shot.

"If you like headaches"
If you like working on furnaces this is the one I would recommend this piece of shit has been nothing but a problems. We replaced our old one when we added central air, we thought we would be all set and not have to worry about it wrong ! the draft motor went bad now the blower fan is blown apart years of worry free service has turned into I wonder if we'll have heat tomorrow !

"Do not buy Goodman"
Had this model Goodman installed in 2007 and have had annual issues with it from heat sensor to inducer and now to the board and relay switches. I have sent Goodman a letter and I am hoping for some rectification. Not holding NY breath.

"Blew Up"
First the ingnitor went out, replaced it with a white-rodgers, Next two snap switchs failed. Lost one vacum switch. Then this fall I vacumed out the furnace, replaced the cover and turned it on,blower started, was watching the ignitor-got bright but no flame then it expolded blew the combustion blower apart, bent the metal door, and didnt shut down on any type of vault. All of this in less than 2 heating seasons. Needless to say I am now buying a new furnace.

"READ THIS and you'll never buy goodman"
Goodman control boards have a know fault in that they have the wrong rated relays built on to the boards. You'd be lucky if the board lasts 5 years. Even the replacement boards have this same issue. The motor mfg for the blower motor make a junk product period. Its hit or miss you might get get a good one or not. The inducer motors had a design change to help increase longevity. They are still junk. And still suffer high rate of failures. Heat exchangers should last life of unit assuming your contract did not put in the wrong size furnace cause the bigger model was on sale. Seen that every day. Goodman cuts cost where they can to deliver a value priced product . While if all I installed correctly and size accordingly your rolling the dice. If you do decide to buy ask contractor about assure warranty. If you catch it while on sale this is an extended warranty from Goodman mfg. That will pay all labor costs for 10 years. They make a decent AC unit but all units require hard start kits. Its in the installer book. And the txv valve that they use is 100% junk. Some swear by it while others bash it till no end. Would I buy it? Yes, but I'd look at other off brands that are say clones of some other brand. Like Payne which is carrier budget brand, or heck thermal zone which is made by by rheem. No name brand less money but not issues like good junk.

"homeowner"
I had this furnace installed last year and is much better than my carrier system that I had installed just before I sold my old house last summer, I 'm finding out it's all in the contractor installing it most of the parts are the same but the goodman installer and techs were very critical of there workmanship.
