"good unit"
Installed a 70,000 btu gmv95 dual stage, 95 afue unit with the variable dc fan motor, very happy, tried initially with the original Tstat, big mistake, replaced with a Honeywell 2 stage programmable, what a huge difference, only comes on high heat when recovering to room temp at 6 am, otherwise I can't even tell it's running, very quiet, very tight temp control and the power savings are unbelievable, when the other furnace was running I thought the power meter would blow up, this unit in low stage (90% of the time) consumes 75 watts (a light bulb) located in Ontario Canada, bought it direct from an outfit in Ohio, had it trucked to upstate ny and picked it up myself, hired a local licensed installer ($700) and saved a ton of dough (half what the local hvac guy quoted me) register the warranty yourself online and have proof of licensed installation and the warranty is good, also, gonna get a grand back from the gov on an an energy rebate, sweet

"Awesome furnace"
Here's my story. I ordered my 95% efficient Goodman furnaces online. They were on sale and another 10% off until Jan 5 shipped free and no tax. Also lifetime heat exchanger warrantee. wow. Furnaces came perfect and well packed from the factory. Hardest part of the installation was next, getting it in to the basement. Finally got the old one out and the new Goodman in. Long story short, after 12 hours and many trips to Home Depot for pipes and fittings, got it finished at midnight. Turned on the gas, electric and thermostat. I thought it didn't start but it was so quiet I couldn't tell! After 15 seconds the burners lit and what nice blue flames! Blower started next and the heat was awesome! It had gotten down to 60 degrees in the house but in 30 minutes it was 71! Very impressed with the quality and performance for the price. Can't wait to install Goodman #2 in the garage and work on the Hot Rods! Thanks Goodman and ac Wholesalers for the best Furnaces you can buy! Don't be afraid to install these yourself, Instructions are great and take about 30 minutes to read.

"Great Product!"
I installed a Goodman furnace and 3 ton air conditioner in my new Ohio home in 1994. I have never had the first service call. It is still working but I have decided to replace the old unit with a new heat pump from Goodman. a friend of mine is going to install the old furnace in his house. I couldn't be more pleased.

"Goodman 80% gas split system"
Installed our system almost 5 years ago. No problems with the units. I used all Goodman components right down to the Lines and cased coil. I am running a 90,000 btu gmt series furnace probably 2003-2004 vintage. And a 13 seer cplq 3.5 Ton condenser unit. Furnace has run great with no problems. a/c unit lost the 2 phase hi voltage contactor but it was my own fault, and during a power outage last summer we tried running the unit with too small a generator. I ended up "chattering" the contactor to death! Parts are very affordable for this furnace if anything were to ever fail. You simply can't go wrong with one of these. The only thing I would change is my home is set up for high static pressure ducting from an old Coleman blend-aire unit. Installed back in the 50's I wish Goodman had a unit with a blower designed to overcome the high static pressures. 3 inch home run venting to all registers from the main plenum. I might upgrade in a few years if a product comes available to suit my needs. But overall I paid $1500 for a complete system at Johnstone Supply. Can't beat that price anywhere Bar none!!! Good Luck and I hope my comments help someone to make the right choice to buy a Goodman.

"goodunits"
My wife and I own two long term care facilities. We currently are replacing one 47 year old Lennex unit with a set of twin Goodman units. That will make a total of 9 Goodman units installed since 2000. Only problem was with distributer not matching circuit boards on the twin units and wouldn’t work correctly. Two phone calls and problem solved. Other than that, no problems what so ever. If you are having problems with your Goodman unit, be certain that you use a professional installer.

"No Problems"
I had a Goodman 80% installed about 4 years ago and have had no problems whatsoever. The furnace has run quietly, smoothly and heated our home, very comfortably through some very cold winters. We have it serviced once a year and will be adding a Goodman A/C next spring. Very good warranty (10 years on all parts and lifetime on the heat exchanger).

"GOOD"
I own an 80% Furnace and it costs less, and heats better than a new, 95% efficient Carrier Furnace - that I have at my other house. I have had no problems with it. It even survived a flood - only needing a cheap circuit board replaced - which I did myself.

"Goodman gmnt 080-4 92.6%"
I installed my furnace myself and had a contractor solder the A/C pipes and vacuum down and test the system before running 5 years ago not a problem so far except an igniter which I bought for $30 and the contractor was not open for business at that time of day but he sold it to me and I installed the igniter and no problems since, been a good running furnace and I did not use the cheap air filters. I use the April air 2200 and it runs good. Contractor says the igniters do go out after so many times so it would be a good idea to keep a spare and do not touch the igniter with your fingers. Good Luck
