How long did you have the heater on? It needs to be rnnniug for a few minutes before the blower will come on.There is a thermal switch that turns on the blower. It could be bad, or the blower motor could be bad. On your thermostat is there a switch for the fan that says auto and on ? If so, turn the switch to on, and see if the blower comes on. If so, the thermal switch is probably bad.

"Worthless Piece of ****"
This Gibson furnace is only 8 years old and we started having problems with it less than 2 years old. I have always heard to stay away from this brand, but was put into our new construction home without our knowledge. Looks like we will be replacing this piece of junk real soon. Repair person is here at least 3 times per year trying to get it to fire.

"OFF TO GOOD START"
I had a new funace and ac system installed the end of July when my old ac died. The new units(s) are solid and quiet. I am very happy with the system. My neighbor recommended the local heating company who put in their system 5 years ago. These guys were great, I think the company who installs it is more critical than the name brand.

I got a new furnace and ac last winter, Gibson brand on all. This is much better than my other heater and ac. They were noisy. I hardly ever hear the heater, and the air conditioner is much quieter. It was a mild winter, but I should be way ahead on my utilities too.

I had a Gibson gas furnace installed in my home last fall. The unit runs quietly and has really reduced my heating bill- I had heating oil before. This was a really good move for me at a great price. I had an older gentleman install it (recommended by my neighbor) and he told me he has been installing them for years with few problems.

I have had experience with many different furnace and ac brands. the Gibson equpment has been wonderfully reliable. They have a quality pledge that if the heat exchanger fails, the homeowner gets a whole new furnace! Their equipment is also american made, unlike others. I recommend their equipment to all my friends and family.

Very happy with my purchase. I had the eco energy audit and and got the rebate I was expecting. The product is quiet and reliable. I read some other reviews on this site that were negative and the only thing I can say is poor contractors can make good equipment bad.

"A Piece of Junk"
We purchased this furnace on Nov 8, 2008 and have had nothing but problems replacing motors, sensors for a total of $740.00 in repairs and service calls. Many of the problems have been under warranty, but the service calls are doubling in price with each call. The distributor and installer are not taking responsibility for the repairs being placed in the furnace and are making unreasonable excuses as to why the furnace fails to work. The next time the furnace fails to work, we will have no choice but to replace it with another more reliable furnace - one that is more reliable than the Gibson we have now. The Gibson will be placed on the front lawn to display to the public that this furnace is not reliable and a warning for public to beware in purchasing this furnace.

"Big waste of money"
My Gibson Furnace is only 5 years old. I have had it repaired once under warranty and 6 times NOT under warranty. I caould have bought a new furnace again for the amount I spend fixing it! BIG piece of junk!
