"Blower keeps braking."
Blower on this motor keeps braking. It stopped working once. It has been replaced and now after about 8 months it makes a lot of noise(it shakes the house). Dealer will not replace a motor and tries blaming the problem on me at this point, while I am waiting for the motor to stop working completely, while dealer is working the warranty issue with manufacturer. I have 2 small kids at home and it is winter. I have called Frigidaire no service and they could not help me. Frigidaire and their distributors have let me down. I will never buy another Frigidaire or any other of their brands again.

"Useless"
This was a brand new unit when we moved into our home 5 years ago. First the a/c went out and 5 months later the furnace. Of course it was just months after the 5 year warranty expired. The motor burned and could not replace the top portion, they only sell it as a whole. So, I either pay $900 to fix it with a one year warranty or 1,900 to replace with a Trane and a 10 year warranty? It's obvious I replaced the piece of poop that came with the home. Frigidaire may make other appliances worth the money, but stay out of heating and a/c!

"Hunk of junk"
Installed in June 2005. 2 stage variable speed high efficiency furnace Service needed every single year. Circuit board replaced. Limit switches replaced. From time to time it smells like a electrical fire. Had a service rep come out 3 times this winter and we are still dealing with unknown issues. We change the filters monthly from the day it was installed and clean the flame sensor yearly. Not sure what furnace to recommend since we purchased this one based on warranty. They sure do not make them like they used to.

"piece of junk"
I bought this frigidaire FG6RA series unit new, 6 years ago. Have had nothing but problems since. Thought a name like frigidaire would give peace of mind. What a disappointment. Repairman coming back for the third time this month for an intermittent problem.

"20/20 Hindsight"
I purchased a Frigidaire heater several years ago when my contractor recommended it. Frigidaire should have stuck with making refrigerators. I have had to call for service 3 times and getting warranty service was horrible. Would not recommend.

"Absolute Junk"
Purchased Frigidaire 2 stage furnace/AC unit May 2010. A/C ran approx. 2 wks., then required recharging of refrigerant. When seasonal temperatures dropped in Nov, the service rep was out again to replace a faulty ignitor. In Jan. of this year the blower motor seized and was 3 days to acquire and install a replacement motor. As I write this, I am trying to locate the service rep once again to diagnose a new issue with this unit as the fan starts out on low speed as per normal, but high speed will not kick in. If anyone is considering a Frigidaire furnace, keep shopping. Very disappointed with quality and will never buy this brand ever.

"No Worth It"
One year my unit could not keep up with the heat. Then the flame sensor was bad. Now I am searching for a pressure switch, because I have to whack the thing to come on. GCRA Series 80

"Buyer Beware"
In December 2010 I had a 2-stage, variable speed Frigidaire gas furnace installed. I've hated it since it was installed. I was told I would love it, very quiet etc. I find the furnace when running to be noisy and if it has to ramp up to full efficiency it sounds like a plane taking off in the house. There is a loud banging noise when the furnace shuts off and the installers told me it was the electric brake in the motor. I don't know if it is because my house is small (800 sq ft) and the furnace is in a open utility room and that is why I can hear every noise the furnace makes throughout the house. You spend a lot of money on a furnace and would expect to get what the company advertises - quiet comfort. Don't believe everything. Extremely disappointed.
