"frigidaire 95.1 furnace, 16 seer ac"
Just installed last month. This qualifies for the $1500 tax credit. Like night and day, my old unit was so loud I had to turn up the tv volume. With the Frigidaire, I have to check the thermostat to see if it is on. In fairness, we did move it from a closet to the attic. The new blower slowly ramps up to speed, so no instant noise or rush of air. If the temp change is minor, it stays in a low heat mode. If needed, it goes to a higher fan and heat, but still quiet. As these 95.1 furnaces are condensing(produce water), it required a new pvc exhaust vent and drain lines for the water runoff. As the A/C coils already have a pvc drain, just tapped into that. I have not yet used the A/C, but understand the blower will also ramp up slowly also, and that the outside unit will operate in a two stage also. Ten year warranty, and limited lifetime on burners. Plus, the installer had provided service for my home and office, so I trusted him. Neat, clean install.

"owner of this pice of junk"
We had the Frigidaire furnace( high efficiency) 2 stage and central A/C & heat pump installed in 06 model fg6tc o8o-vb. This unit has been bad from the day I bought it. Has service every year, won't burn but 1 minute and shuts off, will not keep freon in it for 3 months and leaks out or something. 10 years parts and labor does not pay for freon or labor. The warranty stinks. Do not buy a Frigidare furnace. Good luck to the rest that have no problems with their furnace. This furnace and heat pump is a piece of junk. Thinking of pulling it out and replacing it with something else. Thanks!

"Frigidaire/Nordyne Furnace/Air Handler - Questionable Motor?"
This is a 2 month old unit and the blower motor is already blown. The new 2 speed motors require the dip switches to be set according to cfm requirement and the system is very sensitive to this adjustment. Why does a standard induction motor last 20 years but these new motors are so sensitive to relatively minor changes? We are tempted to replace the whole unit due to the fragile nature of these motors. Two months is unacceptable.

"GREAT FURNACE"
I had a frigidaire furnace installed in my house about 5 years ago. It is very quiet and I have had no problems so far. When my AC goes out, I will replace it with a frigidaire.

"owner"
We had the Frigidaire Furnace( high efficiency)2 stage and central a/c installed in 2006 in our 1200 sq foot bungalow in Edmonton Alberta by Economy Duct Works.A Few hick ups in the first year(computer board and dip switches) but they where covered under warranty and we have not had any problems since. Awesome company to deal with and great product even though I was skeptical upon the first few repairs.

"Great job - Frigidaire furnace"
I recieved many quotes for a new furnace and a lot of bad advise. I went with a contractor that I felt I could trust. The result was a good experience and I have not had one problem with my Frigidaire furnace and air conditioner. It is quiet and my gas bills have decreased. Thanks Mario

"FRIGIDAIRE FURNACE"
I have a Frigidaire Furnace model #g6ra096c-12. It was installed in 1999. The main circuit or eletrical board stopped working in 2006. I replaced the board in 2006. Now on October 1, 2008 a furnace technician said I need another one. This part cost $200-$300 plus. I am very displeased with this problem. So I am not satified with this furnace at all. I have had other problems with this furnace also.
