"Do not Buy Comfortmaker it is a Stress Maker"
We bought a house that had an old unit. When it broke, we decided to get brand new one so we do not have to deal with it for years. The contractor recommended Comfortmaker to rip us off. He charged me $5,000 for whole thing and since that day we had all kind of problems with it. Fan, blower, motor, refrigerant, coil, etc. We installed this piece of sh#t in 2008. Every year I had issues with air conditioning. My wife and I fought a couple of times because of this unit. As of today summer 2013 the unit did not work (of course). I called the repairman who told me that there is an issue with it that is unrepairable or I can spend up 4,000 to fix it. I got screwed getting this unit. I advise you all if read this, do not get a Comfortmaker. I repeat, do not get a Comfortmaker. I repeat, do not get a Comfortmaker. I will let everyone I know for the rest of my life not to get this unit (garbage). I am so angry, that this is going to be a personal vendetta. I will let everyone that Comfortmaker is a horrible unit. It should be called Stress maker.

"Heat Exchanger is TERRIBLE"
I reccently replaced this furnace after changing the heat exchanger on it twice within 4 years!!! The furnace lasted just over 10 years. What a piece of junk. I replaced it with an Amana that has a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel heat exchanger. If the heat exchanger fails on the amana they give me a brand new furnace. I'm glad this nightmare is over

"Unbelievably poor quality"
It's blower only last about 1 year. I already had two blowers stop working for a little over two years. I purchased a new construction in 2010. In the winter 2011-2012, its blower died. The installer replaced the blower. I thought it was just one unlucky event. However, within less one year, the replacing blower died again yesterday. I will have installer come in today and will see what he will say and how much he will charge me.

"Won't buy Comfortmaker"
6 year old unit - serviced regularly - replaced control board on air handler 2 years ago - has again died. My hvac company even tried to get them to step up with the replacement part since we are now on the 3rd control board - they could not be bothered. Will never have another.

"Do not buy Comfortmaker"
This furnace has been a disaster - we have bought a new blower motor twice and a new control board -- all in 2 years. Comfortmaker company refused to even discuss the matter saying it's all the dealer's problem. We are spending a fortune buying overpriced parts and paying for labor. This furnace is a lemon!

"homeowner"
Bought house almost 5 year ago, furnace and a/c 2 years old then, every fall furnace will not come on. A different part goes out each time, computer board, etc, each time 400 -500 to repair. After repair runs through winter w/no problem until turned on in fall, is out again. Buying different brand now.

"Garbage Furnace"
This is the worst furnace I have ever owned. Can't wait to replace it this year! Problems since day one with the furnace turning on but the blowers not.. No one can figure out what it is. Happens in the humidity, cold nights, whenever it wants. Replaced many expensive parts. Never will by this brand again!

"Do NOT buy Comfortmaker"
If you want reliable heat in cold weather, do not buy this product! We have had this unit for 5 years and it has been repaired 3 years ina row! If this company goes out of business, we would all be better off.
