"Highly Recommend"
Our coleman furnace has been great. It was replaced at the same time when we did our air conditioner. We had a Trane system before and we had multiple problems. The Coleman system we have had longer and the unit has not failed. We credit the great experience to our great service provider who installed the unit and keeps it maintained for us. Highly recommend the coleman brand, when installed correctly.

"Just Installed on 1-13-2012"
I have not had the furnace long enough to complain. It is very quiet. I have a full 10 years parts and labor so am not worried about repairs. I have 2 years to decide if I am happy with it. If I am not I can get it replaced for free. Time will tell. I have heard horror stories about every brand so this was a hard decision to make. We had a Goodman that only lasted 6 years with no warranty left. It sounded like a 747! Was thinking about an Amana but decided against them due to their affiliation with Goodman. Coleman is made by Johnson Controls and is basically the same as a York. From what I have heard a good company with good products.

"Echelon is great"
The Coleman Furnace is great, it is very quiet and we can't notice it is even on. It heats our home much better than our old furnace. Also, have noticed much lower energy bills. We are very happy with purchase of Coleman Echelon CP9C Furnace.

"Great furnaces"
I work for one of the oldest heating company in Canada, with 87years in business and 50years being a Coleman dealer. My 23years experiance showed me that any model furnace on the market to date all have there share of problems .All furnaces installed must spend the time to be setup properly eg.temp rise, temp drop.gas valve pressure, duct work sizing and most important correct installation of venting, elect etc. This company has installed thousands of these furnaces and yes warrantLy is very important to the consumer thats why our customer service has brought us up to were we are today.

"oldy but a goody"
My Coleman has been running well for 46 years, 20 of that for me. Only thing that has been replaced in 20 years was the motor. Recent furnace inspection came up "no problem"...looks better than most furnaces less than half that age. Tech said that if heat goes out - replace the t-stat, that is more likely to be an issue than the 46 year old furnace. Standing pilot light probably makes sure humidity doesn't have a chance to take hold. After reading reviews of new furnace - looks like they don't make them like they used to.

"Good Furnace"
My Coleman Furnace is 23 years old and has performed well. I had to replace the thermocouple once and we just replaced the blower assembly, which did not surprise me considering its age. I had the unit inspected and overall it is in decent condition. I am very satisfied and will buy another one when the need arises. We live in the high desert and get some very cold winters. This unit has done its job.

"coleman/york equipment"
I have been in the business for over 27 years installing/servicing/engineering residential/commercial/industrial and found most of the problems with new installations are poor installers that have not been thru any kind of training/technical schools.

"Older mobile home furnace/AC"
A 1990 Coleman 7956a856 was in a mobile home, purchased in 2001. Put in service 2002. In 2005, the central air unit failed and was replaced. The furnace and ac have worked well. Limit switches will be replaced this winter (2010). Except that newer units are more efficient, I am satisfied with the performance.

Review:
"Totally Impressed with Coleman"
We have a factory install a Coleman furnace in our 1989 1900 sq ft. Doublewide. We have owned the home since 1992. We have had to do absolutely nothing to the furnace except change filters! We have a wood stove also and when you light it, the furnace has to be off as to not create a negative draft. I have to hold my hand over the heat register to see if it is on because you can't hear if it is running or not. Very quiet!
