"avoid Coleman furnaces"
Every time I need to start the furnace, it won't work. I need to call a service tech. This week I will have the pressure switch replace again. Wish I'd shopped around more.

"2 year ownership"
First the good news. This furnace, when it works, keeps the house warm and is far less expensive to run than my old furnace. Now, the bad news: the money saved here will go back into service calls to try and keep the thing running. The first year, the flame sensor was replaced. The very start of the third heating season resulted in the gas valve needing replaced. For a new furnace to have two problems in, basically, two years doesn't give me any confidence in it's reliability. But the real problem is; none of the online reviews for any of the new furnaces gave me much confidence, no matter the brand. If you have a good furnace, even if it's old and not very efficient, my advice would be to keep it, because the new stuff seems to be, for the most part, a series of service calls and money spent.

"dgaa056"
If it wasn't for the fact that this is the only unit that fit in the furnace spot in my manufactured home, I would have bought something else. The fan is much louder than the old Coleman Evcon Presidential, and can wake you up at night, the cycles don't step up or down, only blasts heat on for awhile, goes off, then does it again when you start shivering. You have to hold the filters in place while putting the top door back on, or they will slide out the bottom. The bottom door has 2 plastic latches and one breaks off every time the door is removed, no matter how carefully it is pulled off.

"Expensive blower motor replacement cost"
Blower motor has failed after 6 years only. Cost of replacement of this dc direct drive variable speed motor is $900-1,000 without warranty. For the cost of buying a new motor I am seriously thinking of getting a new furnace installed; at least I'll have warranty coverage for new parts installed. Very expensive blower motor!!!
