"The WORST"
There is not even a real heat exchanger, just a big metal can, very ineffecient. Also the electronics are unreliable, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. This is very dangerous, I do not want the gas to keep flowing if there is not a flame. I junked one of the 2 units I have and replaces it with Rheem.

"WEST SIDE RENTAL PROPERTY"
Furnace was first installed in 11/6/09 Never would work for more than 2 month at a time after 100th of hours trying to make work Coleman consented to replace furnace on 1/12/12 and it still does not work properly and 2 different repair company have throne in the towel. So we have no choice but to throw this piece of junk out and have a different brand furnace installed as soon as possible. Please be warned if you are looking for a new furnace....

"Extremely unhappy"
If I could afford a lawyer after the constant service calls, I would get one. We purchased the high efficiency furnace and ac units in 2007. There has not been a season change (live in the Midwest) when we did not have to make at least 2-3 service calls or more, costing us several hundred to thousands even. The best part is that not many companies in my area even work on Coleman's anymore due to their poor quality. Sure wish the company that installed these pieces of junk was in that group...I Am, as I type, waiting for 3 companies to call me back to see if they will work on our furnace. Luckily it is the warmest winter that I can remember. I would never buy or recommend any coleman product ever again! As soon as I can afford it, I will replace the units.

"Repairs"
I had this furnace installed 3 years ago. I have had to replace pressuse switches every year at $200.00 a piece. Last year my installer said Coleman had problems with the switch and redesigned it. Cross my fingers $600.00 later it works this year. I have had a coleman at my last home that lasted 25 years and no problem. I even sent Coleman a E-mail in regard to this issue and never heard a word from them. Where did thier customer service go?

"leaking furnace, very unhappy!"
I have a Coleman furnace that leaks water when running. I have model number tm9v080b12mp11a. The leak appears to be coming from the condensate pan, which means there may be a crack at the bottom somewhere. The leak has been ongoing for approaching a year, and my metal components are all rusted out! This is a brand new furnace too. Needless to say, I'm unhappy about Coleman furnaces! It is made by Johnson Controls, and is basically the same as York.

"JUNK FURNACE"
I live in a double wide mobile home-my husband and I purchased it brand new in 2002- 4 days ago the furnace went out-when I called "the furnace guy" to look at it they told me - they could not fix it as there were 3 very large and deep cracks in the wall of the furnace, and it has been leaking carbon monoxide gas, and if they did try to fix it-it would catch the insullation on fire. they showed me these large cracks, and also informed me that the furnace was too large for this mobile home- another reason why it was not efficient! When I called coleman with this information-they told me that the warranty of that model was expired last year-and it was not thier problem. lesson do not ever buy a coleman furnace!

"I wish i had not bought this Coleman Furnace"
I wish I had known about this site before I purchased, or done any research, but I was blinded by the cheap cost...now I know why it was cheap. I bought the fc9c080c16up11a model (part of the Echelon 9c series) 3 years ago and have had 5 service appointments on it already. I live in Ottawa Canada, and when this thing fails (which is surprisingly often) you wake up in the cold. I have had problems with pressure switches, and even had the mother-board replaced. I wish I had not bought this Coleman furnace. I would never buy another Coleman again.

"stuck babysitting pressure switch"
Bought before I retired so I wouldn't have to worry about keeping warm. Had to extend stack, replace induced draft fan assembly, igniter, circuit board has hot spot on it, it may turn to toast. Am babysitting combustion air switch. Is stuck closed as the diagnostic light flashes. Want to scream or is that cry!!!!!!!
