The Bryant Plus 80 383KAV is a discontinued induced-combustion furnace offering up to 80 percent AFUE. This builder-grade model stands at 40 inches high in an upflow configuration and is suitable for installation in small spaces such as alcoves, attics, short basements or utility rooms.
According to the most recent literature, dating to 2000, the unit features left or right gas and electrical connections, a blower speed selector, matching coil sizes, and accessory low-voltage connections, all designed with easy installation in mind. Also included is an intelligent control board with self-testing diagnostics and a LED status light indicator to help ensure all parts are working properly.
This model features a hot surface ignition, a 4-pass aluminized heat exchanger and a blocked vent safeguard to ensure the furnace stops operation if the vent not functioning properly. Accessories, such as a gas conversion kits, humidifiers and air cleaners were also manufactured for this unit.

This system came with my new home 12 years ago and I have never had to call for a repair. I'm thinking of upgrading to something more efficient and am definately going to stick with Bryant.
