"amana model # GSE050DN3C"
Please review the model number of my Amana furnace. The serial number given gse050dn3c is really close to the recall model. I want to verify that you have a model number like mine, making it offical and two is my model number on the recall list. Please advise.

"Troublesome Furnace"
I had an Amana furnace installed last year. The company that installed are a good company and this year replaced the entire furnace with a new furnace because I was having so much trouble with igniters and circuit boards that it must be a lemon. I am satisfied with the installers but the equipment is very poor quality and caused me a lot of inconvenience. The new Amana furnace seems to be working O.K. for now.

"Amana AMV9"
We recently purchased a variable speed 95% efficiency furnace as part of a total HVAC overhaul. It was installed just over 2 months ago (Dec. 2009), and I must say I am starting to get pretty nervous. After reading some of the reviews about control boards, gas valves and ignitor failure and the replacements made ..... WOW, Same story here! All of those components have been replaced within the last two weeks. There hasn't been the opportunity to turn on the ac, but in reading those reviews and with our contractor due out Monday to fix yet another furnace not working problem, it is time to discuss the Lemon Law. It is disappointing to have so many problems with a reputable name such as Amana.

80% Upflow furnace. I have had to replace the draft inducer motor, ignitor, high limit switch and flame detector. The furnace is also very loud. It was in the house when we moved in. Talking with the Amana service man he mentioned that this specific model is just very loud. Were building a new home this spring and I am not installing an Amana.
