"Most unreliable piece of equipment I've ever owned"
This is the worst piece of junk ever constructed. I have spent more than $4000 on repairs and parts on this boiler in the last 5 years. The only reliable thing about it is that you know it's going to break down at least 4 times a year, mostly in the winter. No one should ever be subjected to the junk they make. Tell everyone you know to boycott Peerless boilers. They need to be put out of business.

"THIS BOILER MADE OUR LIFE HELL!"
Once again, this "State of the Art, High Tech, Super Efficient Boiler" has let us down! Our HVAC guy has been to our house more than a dozen times and has replaced every part on the furnace at least once - He even had a representative from Peerless come to take a stab at the mysterious boiler. This boiler has ruined Christmas (no heat for 5 days - no parts available) 2 Winter vacations were cancelled due to the furnace running poorly and the fear of coming home to broken pipes. We have an attic full of electric heaters, radiators and a propane heater as backup for this thing since it always seams to break down during the coldest times of the year. As I sit here writing this I have not had hot water in 5 days - still waiting for that UPS guy to arrive with the part! Guess what - after all the money and stress this thing has caused us, I wish we would have kept our old furnace!!! Worst investment ever!

"Biggext piece of Junk, Stay AWAY!!!"
We got rid of our old oil boiler and went with a new gas in Nov. 2008. We installed a Peerless Purefire PF-140-LP, it should be named Peerless PUREJUNK!! There have been nothing but issues since we put it in. In Jan. of 2009 we had to leave the house for the weekend as the CO detector went off (thankfully we had one or we would be dead). The boiler came from the factory with a lid not screwed on properly therefore allowing CO to escape. Then in Spring of 2009 the entire motherboard had to be replaced. Gee then it worked okay for a few months, but now as usual it shuts off for no reason whatsoever. Now we are getting an A05 error code and the company says we are out of warranty!! Gee the 42 year old furnace gave us way less grief!! DO not BUY, Warn everyone!!

"Peerless Crap installed in 2002"
PI-80, Serial #: 80LPJ0110078 installed Oct2002 by Lic Plumber. Each year F-09, F-01 errors when the weather is cold. Yearly service by Lic. plumber did nothing but add to the repair costs. Need to return blower that was recalled 2yrs after installation - never notified by manufacturer even though they had our warranty information, spent another $1000 on P125 upgrade control board, O2 sensor. Another day, another F-09 fault code. A good laywer should be taking all these names from this review site and going after Peerless for 'Fraud' in their product. Would not recommend this product after spending so much time, money and not knowing if one is coming home to a heated house or not.

Review:
"poor quality product"
my landlady,(aunt) had 2 brand new boilers installed in 2007. supposed to be maintenance free..(she is 86 years old).. problems since the first heating season.. installed incorrectly, tankless coil replaced twice within the first 2 years..(her boiler). installer told how to correctly install plumbing. lost heat in second boiler's heating zone in one radiator all season.. after paying $14K for both boilers, she has spent another $200.00 for a service call, another $2K in repair and now the other tankless coil is rotted and leaking.. ( $ 875.00). both boilers need to be checked every day. one needs water added every few days, the other overfills and need to be emptied every 4 days or so...(they were supposed to be self feeding).. never worked right. takes nearly an hour to get heat to the last radiator on the line.. it is supposed to be instant... or quick anyway... nothing but problems.. and money, money, money... poor quality product and no one able to fix them properly...i would stay away from peerless products...

"JUNK!"
I build my house in 2005 and though Peerless was the "best built" all I have has is problems, I am glad to see that I'mnot the only one with F 09 code coming up every few hours here in the winter. good thing I am home tonight because it's 8 degrees out and all of a sudden it felt like 60 in here, sure enough COLD AIR blasting out of my vents, go to the mechanical room and you guessed it "F09" JUNK what a waste of money! Lats year I had this problem a few times then the blower went to the tune of $680.00 to replace. JUNK!!!!

"I would never install this product"
We just moved into a 6 y/o house with two Peerless Pinnacle boilers. Not even two months into the move one boiler stopped working and the other shuts down twice a day that needs firing up usually in the afternoon and wee hours of the morning, if not we freeze and have no hot water. I was told by one heating/cooling business the part is on back order for two weeks so there's no telling when this $900-1200 part will be in. Currently I'm working with another company hoping they can get it in faster.

"Pinnacle"
We've had our Peerless Pinnacle gas fired boiler for 4 years. Our basement is dry but we've had problems with corrosion from the beginning. Our installer was top notch and has stood behind us every one of the many breakdowns (Peine Plumbing and Heating). It's 52 degrees in my house this morning and it's the second time in 3 days that it wouldn't come on. This is the poorest quality product I've ever had the misfortune to buy. It's a Lemon with a capital L.
