"CompleteHeat - No Heat"
I have just replaced my Lennox Complete Heat hm30 Boiler after 8 years of endless problems. It leaked from its second year, but I was told that the replacement unit being offered was worse, so better to stay with the original. Lennox's approach to the situation has convinced me never to buy another Lennox product. I now have an nti boiler - fantstic, quiet, instant, and uses less gas for more heat!

"Lennox CWB-4 Boiler"
Three different opinions on what is wrong. Rollover switch installed in October and supposedly that was the problem and ran for a week. Then it stopped and a circuit board was the problem (not true). Then another 3 or 4 days and not working again. So now they say it is sooted up and would take 2 men and 2 days work to take the chambers to the car wash to clean them out. These sounds really weird. How big could the chambers be, that it would take that long to do that? Also a quote of $1,000.00 was given to do the job, which seems very unreal. So, we do not know if anybody knows anything about this unit we purchased in 2003 and expecting it to perform like our American Standard we had before for 30 plus years with only minor problems. We are very dissatisfied with this Lennox gwb-4 Boiler. We do luckily have a wood stove to keep us warm, but we are very displeased with this unit and the service.

"Lennox HM61"
Absolutely the biggest pos out there. 6 years in the house and has never worked more than 6 months(EVER) Constant problems with gas pressure switch, Service rep comes out and charges me $335 to replace switch. I finally have had it !! I decided to try and solve problem myself, personally knowing the techs that have installed and worked on it I figure if these guys are called experts than I will consider myself a genius. I locate the switch under unit and remove it (cheap plastic $65 dollar part) less than 5 minutes to remove and reinstall =$335 ?? I will never own a Lennox product again and will certainly not refer anyone to their junk. As I look around for a replacement a scary concern surfaces - It doesn't appear that anyone makes a quality unit anymore. Like most things these days they are engineered to be defective, you can't make any money on something that doesn't break down. They just don't make things like they use too including reputations. I installed a weil McClain Ultra in machine shed and after 1 year its still going but seroiusly though it has only run a total of 4-5 months and about 500 gallon of propane, happy so far but after reading reviews I'm nervous. It would appear that there is a hell of a demand out there for someone to make a solid unit.

"Lennox furnace GWB9-100"
There claim to saving 30% in gas cost is faults! We've had nothing but problems with our boiler, which was installed almost 8 years ago. Every year (but 1 year) we've had to replace parts. This year we decided to have it cleaned and service (prevent any problems during the winter months) and found major issues....so the boiler is down again...for 9 days so far. No idea when it will be fixed. Will never buy a Lennox again!!!

"LENNOX HM30"
We have literally put 1,000's of dollars a year into this hm30 unit in repairs and regular maintenance. Now the tank is leaking and must be replaced. This unit ran our radiant floor heat and hot water. This is by far the worst piece of equipment I have owned in a home in the 16 years I've owned a home. We are probably going to replace with a Phoenix or Munchkin. Does anyone know about these either of these products?

"Lennox Complete Heat system"
Unit failed just after start up, factory rep in our in house found sadder bee-bee’s inside the sealed heat exchanger. Circulation pump fails often, tank leaks water on my floor. We bought the highest priced boiler unit and built our house around it. Now Lennox wants to remove it and just give us a mid Efficiency range air handler. I can't just switch to an electric water heater like Lennox wants us to.

Review:
I am the brave owner of a HM30 boiler. Our Lennox HM30 unit was installed in a brand new house in 2001. We have the furnace and the boiler services once a year by a Lennox authorized dealer. First leak happened last year in April: the little tank on top of the unit had a hole in it. Due to the strong pressure, it flooded the 3 car garage quickly. It caused substantial damage, plus all the cleaning and service calls and of course we had to replace the unit. This year the night of Nov 21st (right before Thanksgiving) the main unit (boiler HM30) started leaking... I have no idea of how much I am going to spend this time yet. The Lennox dealer said that he has had this type of service calls about HM30 before and that everyone knows that these units need to be replaced. Just the service call is a few hundred dollars plus about the same damage that we had last time. I will get rid of this one. I am going to call Lennox and see what they say but from a respectable company you would expect at least some info on their website on this defective product. I could find nothing.

I purchased a Lennox Conservator 90 Boiler in 2000 and the boiler block cracked in 2003. I paid to have a new boiler block installed. In 2007 the boiler block cracked again, in the exact same location as the original and have had to replace almost every part on the boiler. I live in Alaska and have waited 5 months to get an answer from Lennox. Winter is coming and I am going to junk this boiler. Lennox is JUNK!

Original Lennox HM30 Replaced with a second HM30. Second HM30 replaced with an HM61. Describe in one word: Junk. It is unimaginable that Lennox would allow a product like the HM30 on the market. I would not have considered the Complete Heat if it had not been a Lennox product.

Review:
The Am 30 complete heat system has too many breakdowns to be called a decent system. I have had to replace 4 wirsbro power heads. The taco pump burned out within 2 years. Another of my power heads is leaking. There is currently a class action lawsuit in california re this model manufactured by lennox. I live in alaska and we require bulletproof boilers and furnaces . The AM 30 complete heat has more holes than the holiest swiss cheese. It was expensive to install and costly to repair.
