"Warranty"
After reading the previous post I double checked my Alpine warranty. It states the 5 year parts is in effect only if the serial number warranty is activated within 90 days. I checked with my contractor if he registered my warranty and he said he did online. I called Burnham to verify and they said, yes. I asked what the warranty was if not registered. They stated 1 year parts and 12 years on the heat exchanger. Maybe your warranty was not registered.

"Feel good"
I'm wondering how many people on here actually tried to talk to Burnham or just listened to what a contractor told them. We moved into our house 3 years ago, and our steam oil boiler failed a year ago when it was 10 years of age, there was no warranty because they are to original owners. Anyway I spoke to them and they gave me consumer goodwill and provided a replacement boiler for $500, not bad for something that they did not have to do. This mega steam boiler reduced my oil bill last year by over 30%. So anyway...I Feel good they treated us okay. People should ask and ask nicely and I think they would be surprised in the response.

"from a service man"
To all unsatisfied customers of the burnham v8 series yes there has been some issue on cracked blocks but nothing compared to the Weil-McLain boilers and burnham honors a boiler block replacement but it is prorated after 10 years so like I did a warranty block the first on over 300 units sold by me and installed it was 12 years old burnham sold a block to me for a customer for 587. I installed for 1200. Note when you get a block from burnham it comes with the cabinet and door with it only that has to be put on is old control and burner. So who ever is charging you over that price to reinstall a block is taking advantage of you. These boilers our great, also tell me how many thing last even 12 years that you pay 7000. I've been doing this for 20 years in Vermont feel free to look us up were in Milton Vermont.

"gas boiler"
I've replaced a very old Burnham gas boiler in my home last year. I think it was about 30 years old. The new one is Alpine series and have been very happy with it. It appears my fuel bill is reduced by over 40%. I get my hot water from one of their water heaters and now we always have enough. Very happy with performance and installation.

"The Best Boiler in the Market"
I purchased this boiler just over a month ago and now I don't know how I ever lived without it. There are many things that I like about it. It works very quickly and I never find myself waiting for it to work. It is also extremely efficient, I have lowed my utility bill a great deal since installing this boiler. With my old boiler, I was spending a fortune running it and maintaining it. My favorite feature is that it has an excellent ability to condense which gives it maximum efficiency. The main thing that I did not like about this boiler was having to pay for it, it is relatively expensive but it is well worth the money and it will end up paying for itself in the long run. Also it was not simple to install. I would recommend this to a friend but I would also suggest that they all a professional to install it. I would buy this product again but I am expecting that it will last long enough that I won't have to.

"The best, most hardworking, Burnham Boiler i have ever had in my life"
I have owned my boiler for about 5 years now. What I really like about it is that it really keeps my home warm. This past winter was particularly cold, and while we were in our house, we didn't feel a thing! Really, the greatest boiler I have ever bought. The only complain I have about it is that I have had to get it repaired about twice now. It needed to be repaired because some of the hoses broke. This happened in my first year of owning it, and in the third. I will definitely buy another Burnham boiler once this one has run its course, and I've already recommended it to basically everyone I know.

"burnham MPO oil boiler"
Installed a new heating system with one of their water heaters about 3 years ago. Just had it serviced and the technician was very impressed with it. He said it was the only American made high efficiency oil boiler made. Anyway very happy with it.

"Professional Installer"
We have been installing Burnham boilers for twenty years and we have not had to replace any that we installed. I presently own 2 Burnham boilers an rv5 and its been installed for 10 years and a 205 installed for 15 years with a little maintenance. They will run for ever mechanical things do fail and that is why you need to maintain them, a small leak will allow fresh water into the system more frequently causing air to enter the system and allowing oxidation to occur shortening the life of the boiler, also water quality and ph are critical to some of the Aluminium boilers and should be checked regularly.
