"MegaSteam boiler is an amazing boiler"
I have owned my boiler for about 8 months now and i think its fantastic . I like that it is an energy star product and it has a great warranty ,i purchased an extended warranty and that lasts for 10 years it cover most parts and issues with the boiler . My water is always hot and i never have to worry about my bathwater being cold because someone is doing the dishes or laundry . the one thing i did not like was the price it was pretty expensive but it is worth the money . i still have not had to replace any parts or repair it in anyway which i find very impressive , i would recommend the mega steam to anyone who uses allot of hot water or hates to fill there boiler often , i would most definitely buy this product again . it was actually really easy to install my husband did it himself in an hour or so . i rarely have to fill it with oil it seems to last forever .

"An Excellent Boiler of High Quality"
My last boiler broke down for good a little over a year ago after a few years of terrible service and so I decided to finally splurge and replace it with something reliable. I found this boiler to be an excellent replacement; as soon as I had it installed, I knew that I had made the right choice because it actually worked, and it worked well. I did not need to worry about it sputtering out or breaking down randomly. The only thing I had a marginal dislike for was the color of the boiler, though since I don't really see it, this is an unimportant concern so it is not worthy of attention. Never have I needed to replace or repair it and with how excellent it is, I doubt that I will ever have to. Overall, this Burnham boiler has been excellent and if given the opportunity, I would buy this brand again in a heartbeat as well as tell my friends about how useful they are.

"Burnham ALP 105 Alpine - Finally, Warm Water all Winter!"
Over the past few years we have been slowly trying to make more energy conscious choices to our home. Recently we upgraded our old boiler, tired of the constant cold showers and wonky water temperatures. We upgraded to the Burnham ALP105 Alpine Boiler, finally ridding ourselves of the problem boiler that was installed before we bought the house. Initially, we chose this boiler because after much research it was from a reputable line and qualified as Energy Star compliant. It was well within our price range and the change is noticeable. My gas bill has been noticeably lower. Even though this was an item we initially overlooked in our home repairs the benefit is priceless, we have saved money and no more water temperature issues. I can finally take a long hot bath after the end of the day with no problems and last winter was the first winter where all our family members could take a warm shower in the morning.

"One VERY Satisfied Customer"
I've owned my boiler for a little over two months now after my last boiler stopped effectively heating. I like this because it always seems to be ready for me; when I'm in the middle of a shower, the water no longer suddenly turns ice cold on me. After putting up with a boiler that put me through that agony almost daily, take my word for it, being able to wake up and shower without this fear is amazing. I will concede that at times the water seems a little slow to heat at first, but this is the only complaint I have. I have never needed to replace or repair my model and neither do I believe it will be necessary, as it has thus far worked extraordinarily well. I plan on purchasing the same brand again, when the need arises and I already have recommended it to several friends, all of whom have been similarly satisfied with the efficiency of the product.

"Top of the Line"
I own rental buildings and a licensed plumber and Burnham is all that I install. It's a first rate boiler. If you follow proper piping practice, limit the amount of make-up water as you should and check your water quality, the things run forever. I'm just replacing a Burnham Jubelee that was installed in 1963, and it's not even leaking. Easy to service, quality American manufacturing, you can't beat them. These negative reviews are from improperly installed units and people who added water to their steam systems every day.

After reading some of these reviews, I have found that the servicing company is very bad. I have not seen a single leaker that I could not get under warranty and as far as warranty coverage, every manufacturer is the same limited lifetime on block most are prorated. The company I buy my boilers from tells me the same day if they have approved warranty and they have them instock for same day install. From what I'm reading, it sounds like the heating contractors in your areas are taking advantage of you. You should not have to make one phone call. It should be up to the servicing contractor. Burnham v8 oil is a great boiler. I have installed over 300 units in the last 12 yrs and have had no issues. I only sell them.

I replaced a 30 year old Burnham oil boiler with their new mpo115 last summer. Now that I have a years worth of history, I can see that I have saved over 25% on my oil consumption. I was a little concerned about using another Burnham, but my contractor told me this mpo is a good boiler and easy for him to service and he has installed over 100 of them with good results.

"MPO Boiler"
We have had our Burnham mpo series oil boiler for about 4 years. This was the first one our contractor installed and he has been impressed on the ease of servicing each year. Very reliable so far, and we have saved a lot on our fuel bills.
