"Damaged on service line"
Bought from Pexsupply. Not in stock. Had Buderus ship from New Hampshire manifold connection cracked at large nut.. 3 heating experts. Had to be done on production line" Box no damage, nor fiberglass no damage.. 1st told to go to pexsupply, they shipped.. have original box with shipping from New Hampshire to me.. Pex not in stock, call buderus in New Hampshire and they shipped...Now I'm told it had to be done on installing.. never came out of unit..Showed pictures.. stuck with going through Attorney General office.. All I want, fix it.. Again , sorry it happen in your through shipping... Again sent pictures shipping, was from them... Again pictures tell the story and they still won't fix.. Now I am going thru hell.. Good product, bought, and now this is the way a company backs up the product!

"Very Poor Service from Buderus and Distributor"
This boiler is four years old and the heat exchanger failed (so much for your experience Mr. J. Johnson in ct). This unit is used for radiant heat and domestic hot water. I have now gone over two weeks without hot water and Buderus is indicating it will be at least another 4 days. Thank goodness this did not happen during the winter or I would more than likely have thousands of dollars in damage to my house from frozen radiant heat lines. Stay away from Buderus and R. E. Michel Company.

"Don't buy"
This boiler is the worst item I have ever bought. Nothing but trouble from day one. They are over-rated junk. Stay clear. When it was taken out I smashed every bit of it. Glad to see the back of it.

"Cheaper to buy new boiler every 4 years than maintain it"
I have two boilers in my house and one is a buderus. It is 2 years old and I have Caon Plumbing do preventative maintenance on systems 2x year-- last year it cost $2500 as the buderus boiler failed at -25c and I had to have Caon come out 2 months after spending $1400 to replace a defective pump and they needed to replace a 2 year old flame rod. What junk. How do these guys stay in business?

Review:
"Buderus Boiler nothing but problems"
We built our home in 2006 this plumber highly recommended this system. Said is was the best on the market. We thought we should trust the expert what did we know about boiler systems. Well first year and every year since nothing but problems. December 2007 our system went down and it was -35 outside. We got the plumber out only to find out that a pump went on the system and we had to pay for it. Then we found out the plumber was sold the wrong kind of glycol so our system required a flush. Budaris and the plumber expected us to foot the bill. I fought with Budaris over the phone and the only think they would cover was the glycol and it was basically just to shut me up. The plumber went on to tell us he would never recommend Budaris and stopped installing them in home. Nice we were so pleased to hear what kinda crap was installed in our home. Since then the plumber has gone out of business. We have been approx 2 years without any expert to work on the system. We have had a code popping up on the system for over a year and budaris has no explanation. We have had to replace a fitting since, sometimes codes pop up for no reason and we have to reboot. If we knew then what we know now this system would have never made it into our home. Overall very unsatisfied Budaris has been very unreasonable to deal with and they are of no help when you ask for them to find someone in your area. When we researched online the closes dealers were 6-10 hours away. We live near Edmonton which is considered a major centre, no dealers until this past year. We filed a complaint our first go around on the Better Business Bureau with no resolution.

"Mis-Fires Intermittenly"
Ever since moving into this home in 2008 with the Buderus gas furnace, it has shutdown without warning. It was installed in 2003. I would switch the furnace off to on and it would start up. I have had several plumbers who are suppose to be experts in this system and problem not fixed. Called Buderus in New Hampshire today and received no help. Wouldn't comment, other then to say get a technician to take a look at it. I asked if he knew of any expert in my area and he did not. In summary no help at all. I have now installed a freeze monitor that will notify me when I am away, if the house temperature goes below 45f. No help, no solution and spending many dollars.

Review:
"bad investment"
I had a GB142 installed 4 years ago ran good for two years than nothing but trouble I have spent thousands first with the installer than a high efficiency boiler expert, it still continues to fail and I can't get any help from buderus. I have recommended several of these units and for that I am sorry I wouldn't buy another buderus for anything.

"buderus LT water heater [ JUNK ]"
If anyone is considering buying a buderus (G234X-55) "don't". Nothing but very expensive headaches. I will not recommend or even think about buying any buderus product again. Please, don't even consider buying this product !!!!

"Worthless unit.... JUNK"
This is my second review and our replacement unit Buderus G124X-25DI is just as worthless. It was installed 3 months ago and this evening water was pouring out of the heat exchanger. We have spent $4400.00 on the first repair and now it is leaking again. I'm going to junk the entire unit and replace with another system.
