Heat Transfer Products, Inc, (HTP) makes 3 series of boilers known for their easy control access and compact appearance. HTP makes both residential and commercial boilers, as well as combination boilers / water heaters and swimming pool heaters.
Heat Transfer Products, Inc was established in 1973.
In 2012, Heat Transfer Products markets three lines of boilers: the MC Series (formerly known as the Munchkin Contender) which offers up to 93% AFUE, the Elite series (96% - 98% AFUE), and the Mod Con (which stands for Modulating Condensing) commercial boiler. Within each line of boilers are multiple models which provide varying capacity and efficiency.
Older series are often referred to as the Honeywell series or the Honeywell Pre-925 series (sold until in November 2002), the Munchkin R1 (Revision 1), built between November 2002 and December 2006, and the Munchkin R2 (Revision 2) built after December 2006. The R2 was discontinued in January 2011.
