History of Baxi

Baxi was founded in 1866 by Richard Baxendale. It was not until the 1930s, however, that the first product bearing the Baxi brand name was launched. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Baxi developed gas heating and concentrated on the domestic market. Today, Baxi is the leading brand of the Baxi Group, and the company is one of the largest European boiler manufacturers.

In 2009, the Baxi Group and the De Dietrich Remeha Group merged to form BDR Thermea.

Warranty Information

All Baxi products carry at least a 12-month manufacturer's warranty which covers the cost of any repairs from product defects. At the end of the warranty period, Baxi offers an extended warranty option on its products. In addition, as part of the service offered, domestic boiler breakdown coverage is available.
