Argo's History
Argo electric boilers are manufactured by ECR International, a company that came into existence in 1999 through a merger of The Utica Company and the Dunkirk Radiator Corporation, both founded by Earle C Reed in 1928. Both companies worked together in the production and sales of cast iron boilers, radiators, and baseboards. The merged company was named ECR after the founder.
Product Lines
Argo electric boilers come in 11 different types under the AT series. All models feature a one-piece cast iron heat exchanger. They are 100% efficient with operating temperatures of 90 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. All models also come equipped with accessories such as neon indicator lights, mounting brackets, circuit breaker, and safety limit control - all housed within painted steel jacket. The 2 Element Boiler has a capacity between 6 KW and 12 KW, while the 4 Element Boiler comes with a capacity from 12KW to 24 KW.

Argo's Warranty
ECR International offers a 20-year limited warranty on Argo electric boilers from the date of original installation. This applies only to residential installations in single-family units. Any warranty is valid only when copper wire is used for connection purposes in the power mains and when authorized personnel are employed in the installation processes.
A One-Year Limited Parts Warranty covers Argo electric boilers in case of manufacturing defects for a period of one year from date of original installation. This does not cover defects caused due to mishandling or wear and tear due to usage. From the 2nd year to the twentieth, the company offers a Heat Exchanger Limited Warranty wherein ECR will replace a leaky Heat Exchanger if an authorized ECR representative deems it defective.
A One-Year Limited Parts Warranty and a Second Through Tenth Year Heat Exchanger Limited Warranty are also offered to Multi-Family Dwelling/Commercial Applicants.
