"Aire One heating & cooling Toronto"
I am very happy with Aire One. They have done a terrific job installing and caring for my York YPC90. I can see why they have 9 locations! I will definitely continue my business with Aire One!

"Tech point of view"
I was refrigeration mechanic for about 10 years .Last year I join AC company.Worked on most existing commercial brands of AC,s.York is my favorite brand.Perfect design, accessibility ,durability. Outside refrigerant ports access ,separate electrical panel aloud you to work on unit with out disconnecting it ,simple control components ,inexpensive small parts .Units I worked on were 15 to 25 years old .Wherever I head problems ,they were cause by poor maintenance ,but i have 100% repairs done at first call .I can,t say that about Carrier or Train .All (all brands) AC units MADE IN USA are good units if they are installed properly and maintain accordingly.Unfortunately GLOBALIZATION forced ALL the companies to cut costs of production and after 2001 all went south .I can not wait when I can work again on good American Maid AC,s and parts. And YORK will still be my # 1 .

"york vs coleman"
I would like to set the record straight. Many brands have sister brands, Goodman/Amana, Carrier/Bryant, Lennox/Armstrong, Coleman/York. Don't be a senseless consumer. The installer is the only difference between equipment. Find a contractor who owns and installs him or herself. Make the contractor agree to at least 5 yr money back in writing. If they are confident, they won't hesitate.

"C Davis"
This York was in the house when we bought it in 1987. It had been put in when the house was built in 1971. We have had excellent service. It has never failed - not once. We have it serviced once at the beginning of the summer and it's good to go until the next year. We have now added on to our home and find that the unit is too small to give adequate cooling - and the expense is outrageous! $600-700 monthly electric bills are not uncommon. Now, we have to buy a new unit that will work as good as our York, be more economical, and win the battle with our hot Georgia summers! We were convinced that another York was the way to go, but the York reviews on this site aren't very encouraging. What to do? What to do? Any suggestions?

"Keeps on ticking"
AC service man checked my York system earlier this summer, and once again everything is fine. He says my York AC condenser is from 1976. Amazing that it remains trouble-free and cools very well!

"Owner"
I bought a York system when I built my new home. The company that installed it (Budget Heating) did an outstanding job. I was going with Trane but after talking with my neighbors about the company and with the company itself, I have got to say it was one of my best building decisions ever.

"York Equipment"
I have only been distributing York equipment for a few short months, but I must say I would put it up against any brand on the market and it would win hands down. I have heard of all the coil problems when we started selling them and was told that they had moved manufacturing of those to Mexico and that the faulty coils were from there. York now has all coils made back in the usa and there have been no problems at all with them. I have had over 30 systems placed in service since I started selling them and have 30 very happy customers (I actually keep in touch with them) and have gotten many leads from those sales. York is also by far the quietest units on the market, especially the Affinity series. You can stand right next to them and have to strain to here them, a far cry from Carrier or Bryant. Lastly, in reply to a previous post, all York units are manufactured in the usa. Alot of the problems on here sound more of shotty installation than anything else, except for the Mexican coils of course which are now completely out of circulation.

"Love it"
We have had our unit since the summer of 1988. It has done a superb job....as of yet no problems at all.It handles our 2200 sq/ft/ house with ease. It has outlived one furnace. Installed in a location that takes little sun .
