"20 yeard old outside unit"
I have an older outside weatherking unit being used to air condition a 900 square ft motor home. I am beginning to have problems with the unit and wonder if I am still able to get part for it.

"Mr. Len"
Compressor and air handler installed in June 2010. Problems right from the start. Never could get house temp less than 77, then climbed to 81. This happened several times. Serviceman found the compressor to be intermittent (ran but did not circulate the 410). Felt sorry for the ac mechanic who came out several times, but unfortunately the system always was in its "partially working" mode when he came. He spent lots of time before the unit "failed", and revealed the problem. Will try to get installer to install a Rheem instead of the Weatherking.

"unhappy customer"
Installed 5 yrs ago, nothing but problems ran good first year then needed service every year since. Money wasted, not worth the price. Would not recommend to anyone.

"Garbage"
Model number 10aja3601. Unit was installed in July of 2004. Every year maintained and serviced. The unit apparently had a leak in the compressor that was too small to detect with nitro bursts. Compressor blew out 1 week ago during hottest part of day (Giant hissing sound). Unit was in perfect order and then this. Apparently, compressors are supposed to average 10 years. After reading reviews, it is clear that it is luck of the draw. Hopefully, your problem will be caught while still under warranty. Otherwise, you are at the mercy of the manufacturer. From my personal experience, Rheem corporation and its distributors, stand behind the warranty, not the product.
