Samsung air conditioners are noted for their sleek designs and, according to the manufacturer, for the healthy environment they help create. Several options are available to match consumers' needs.
Samsung Split Air Conditioners
With 14 models from which to choose, Samsung wall-mounted split air conditioners are designed to be attractive, subtle additions to the home. Made energy-efficient with their S-Inverter, Samsung's most efficient model has an EER of 5.2. The S-Inverter provides accurate, consistent temperature and humidity control while minimizing sound production. Options are available to conserve energy, provide wide-reaching airflow or reach desired temperatures faster than conventional models. Models also are available with antibacterial coatings, anti-corrosion fins and allergy care filters such as the Samsung Full HD filter to reduce circulation of allergens, bacteria and odor.
Samsung Window Air Conditioners
Samsung's window air-conditioning units provide airflow in four directions and range from 8.8 to 9.8 BTU/Watts EER. The Good Sleep Mode helps reduce energy consumption by up to 30 percent daily. The filters are protected by a silver, antimicrobial coating and employ 3M Filtrete products for improved dust collection. Additionally, the unit's design allows the filter to be cleaned easily for optimal air quality.
Samsung Digital Variable Multi Systems
These air conditioners are available in many sizes, making them appropriate for a broad range of commercial and residential buildings. These multi-zone modular systems quietly and efficiently produce healthy, cool air as high efficiency or compact combinations. Designed for compressor durability, these units meet cooling and heating needs with a small footprint and high capacity. Multiple indoor and outdoor units are available.
Care and Maintenance for Samsung's Air Conditioners
Samsung advises performing routine servicing and regular maintenance to extend the longevity of its air conditioners.
Samsung air conditioners come with a 1-year warranty and a distributor warranty covering the compressor for 5 years. The plastic and filters are not covered. Repairs must be made by an authorized company or dealer service center and the customer is responsible for paying the visiting charge for unit inspection. The warranty card must be completed and all documents and receipts relating to the purchase of the unit must be presented for coverage.
