"They Did The Right Thing"
I bought a new Rheem system from a local Authorized Dealer 3 years ago. Had a few problems (4)with-in that 3years that cost me money every time for the service calls. The problem was always with the units freon too much not enough etc. Back and forth! Finally got a guy Rob @Global cooling that knew what he was doing and found what he believes was a Factory defect in the Coils causing the problem. Contacted Rheem and not only did they replace the Coil under warranty, but after a little talking to them,"They Did The Right thing" and also paid into the service call fees that I had to pay. Thank You Rheem!

"FREON LEAKS"
This is a top of the line unit(model#RAPM 056jez)..seer 17+. 5+ ton. Was told it would be quiet. No way. Blower is very noisy inside house. Outside okay. Within a few months... started tripping breake model (new house)Technician came out (Monroe service) and fixed. Now... 2 weeks outside of labor warranty...unit has failed. Freon leak in condensor coil, a brand new unit. Had to go over 1 week without air while my installer could get around to it. They still are waiting for parts from Rheem. The service charge will be over 1000 bucks because of Freon recharge and labor which Rheem will not pick up according to my installer. Don't buy this Rheem RAPM 056JEZ unit. It is junk.

"Wait and see"
I purchased this unit 6 years ago and everything was fine up until this weekend. The compressor went out on me. I am going to contact Rheem to see if they will discount me a new compressor. I don't think it should have gone out on me so soon. My contractor is trying to convince me to get a new air conditioner but I am hesitant to go with Rheem again.

"Quiet 80"
Our AC is very loud, and will continue running after it has reached it's set temp. It also trips our breaker all the time.

"Rheem 2.5 ton 13 seer AC"
The unit worked fine until this year, after the coil was cleaned, we were advised the coil needed replacement for 1.5k. We are now considering replacing the unit with a more efficient model and different brand. Our unit was serviced twice a year, our initial expense was about 3K. Replacement is 3.5K. Not happy and feel we have been Rheemed.

"Rheem AC Unit"
I have had my Central Air Unit fan replaced 3 times since purchacing my brand new home because of a irritating loud noise it makes when it is running! I am spending too much money to have someone come out to my house to just look at it and then charge me more money to "try" and fix the problem which is still not fixed. I think the Unit itself is bad and needs to be replaced... especially if it's a 2 year old unit! Your Rheem commercial insinuates that your units are the best, reliable, and quiet units on the market. Im not seeing or hearing any good results!

Rheem does not back up their warranty. Better be sure and keep ALL your warranty papers for your system, we had to pay to replace ac unit and copper tubing and Rheem did not support us and would not help out when we needed it.
