"Don't buy a Lennox!"
I have had 4 units/ compressors/ fan motors between my office and house and they all go bad for various reasons. None of the units lasted more than 6 years before serious problems. I will never install one of these again.

"Always later in the day the cool air stops and it's hot air coming through"
My Lennox heating and cooling comfort series is new. It was put in November 2012 and from day one always in the afternoon hot air comes through. It's so bloody annoying On a 35 degree day. I had two people look at it and say they fixed it but it keeps doing it it cost me $13,000 dollars. I'm taking them to vcat I have had enough. Has anybody had trouble like me?

"HEAT PUMP"
This product is not reliable or efficient.I have had nothing but problems with this product from day one.I Wish I had gone another brand. Because of lack of quality control in this product has cost me (electric bill, time from work etc.)Bottom line I should have done much more research then I did..

"Junk"
Lennox is the most over-priced, over-hyped equipment on the market. Their units consistently have the highest failure rate among all brands. What they are good at is marketing.....they convince consumers that their product is "elite".....I've been a contractor for over 25 years and Lennox keeps my pockets lined with repair calls on their garbage products. Keep up the good work Lennox...HVAC Repair contractors love your products!

"Lennox POS"
We bought our Lennox 6 years ago and it has been a money pit. Replaced the compressor, thermostat, 2 controller boards, ignitor. Our old furnace was 18+ years old and worked flawlessly.

"JUNK"
I'm an HVAC tech with 20 years of experience. Lennox sucks. If you are looking to buy a quilty ac, go w/ Carrier, they are the best, longest lasting. Trane is also very good. Stay away from Lennox and Goodman.

"Horrible"
Bought a Lennox condensor (model lcs13dc-042) less than two months ago to replace the 20-year old Carrier unit that cooled my down strairs after it failed. As of today the Lennox condensor is broken. The 20-year old Carrier unit that cools the upstairs is still running. I had planned to replace that old Carrier condensor with a new, matching, Lennox condensor this coming spring...not so sure I'll do that now.

"Biggest Lemon"
This unit only lasted 4 years. My last one lasted 12-14 years, not sure of brand name. The Lennox parts warranty only covers some parts, not all. Labor went to 10+ hours & still didn't fix the problem. Would have been another 6-8 hours and cost over $1600 parts & labor. Ended up ordering a New Central Air unit. Read bad reviews on the "Goodman" but was recommended by tech. Paying the same amount for a new unit. But Lennox should have helped with the labor. Must have gotten a lemon....SORRY I never investigated before buying the lennox.

"Too high a maintenance cost"
This unit was "Top of the Line" as I was told and I sure was sucked in by the research. This is a technically advanced unit designed to use less electricity than it's predecessors. The problem is the maintenance cost. This unit is only 6 years old and I've already spent over $1,000 to keep it running. The technology is incredible but the overall cost to keep it running in tip top shape far exceeds the cost savings you may reap. This unit replaced a 22 year old construction grade York ac. I never spent a dime on that ac. Now I find myself spending, at the very least, $100 a year to keep this Lennox Model running. Buy a cheaper ac and you will save more money than buying "Top of the Line"

"These things are junk"
The installer/maintenance company told me it was "time to step up" to a real system like Ruud or Trane. This thing died in less than 6 years, 10 months after the warranty
