"model no. 15chpxa-48-230-1A pkg unit"
I have owned a Lennox air conditioner heatpump pkg unit for 1year and about 8 mo. It is the sorriest unit I have ever had. It started going bad at the end of the first summer, quit cooling like it should, had water in air duck replaced. Started up second summer, wouldn't cool at all. Freon had leaked out of the evaporator coils. Coils had frozen up, causing the drain pan to freeze and bust . All around bottom of cabinate on cooling side had rusted up. Contacted Lennox, warranty on coil and compressor, but you had to pay all shipping, all labor, Labor is twice as high as their used parts. DO NOT BUY A LENNOX. IT IS A PEICE OF GARBAGE AND SHOULD BE PULLED FROM CONSUMERS.

"Nothing but Trouble"
This unit ran great for the first couple of years then went straight down hill from there. Although I get routine maintenance twice per year it still performs poorly. Always something wrong every year there is an expense Capp went out, then blower motor went out, then something else all the time. Now R22 leak is the latest some minimal warranty coverage but a very poor quality product. I will never buy another Lennox! You couldn't even give me one.

"XC21-060-230-03"
I hasn't ever worked. If we don't keep the a/c set on 70°, it gets so humid in the house you sweat. You can't leave the house with the air above 72° because its like a sauna when you return. The air registers are growing mold. The a/c company that robbed us blind keeps saying the system works fine. I paid $10,000 for this lemon. My old unit would run great between 76° and 78°. My electricity bills have increased instead of decreasing with a "more efficient unit." I would not recommend this unit or any Lennox product to anyone.

"my lennox air conditioner"
When i was looking for a air conditioner which is highly efficient in cutting down the fuel costs i found this brand - lennox x21.I purchased this air conditioner 3 years back and it is working great since then. What i like the most is that it makes very less noise. My power bill has significantly reduced after i switched to this product. this air conditioner is highly efficient and also has earned energy Star label .While maintaining a cool, low-humidity home environment ,It runs on low level upto 80 % of its time which helps in less power consumption It has 2 levels of settings , one for hot days and the other for milder days.It also Comes with a 10 year warranty on its parts. This Air conditioner also has a self monitor which monitors the performance and helps to report if there are any issues. this Air conditioners can also combined as intergrated systems though I haven't tried yet to do it. I would highly recommend this airconditioner especially for warm areas due to the hot weather for most of the year.

"5 Lennox units in new house"
We have 5 units in a new house - 3 years old. Extremely unsatisfactory. Four of the five units major repairs, condensers, freon leaks, boards - terrible service from Lenox and their rep in Atlanta - Peachtree Services. We have paid out over $2500 in repairs already and have two more units leaking freon. We are looking at $1500-$2000 more in repairs. I'm ready to throw away units and GET A DIFFERENT BRAND. I will never buy Lennox again.

"troubled unit"
I bought a new house in 2006 and the builder installed a lennox M/N 13HPD-048-230-01 ac/heat pump unit. For tha last 2 years I have spent approximately $350 each year on substandard parts. Last year the repair contractor found a leaky start capacitor. This year the fan motor in the outside unit quit working. The estimated cost to replace the fan motor is $350. The season is just starting so I am afraid of what might be next with a 5 year old unit.

"I love my dual-zone AC unit!"
My Lennox AC unit came with the house I purchased in 2004, and I love it. I have a dual-zone system, and the AC keeps the house cool through every Texas summer without breaking the bank. The only drawback is that the outside unit is surprisingly loud. Hopefully, my AC will never fail - I've never had to repair it. If it ever fails, I'll certainly buy the same model again.

"lennox"
allways remember that the technician is not allways right when it comes to condemning compressors or other parts, or even equipment for that matter. Just because they say a part is bad dosn't mean it is. Also installation is more than 50% of the whole package. A poor install will ruin your equipment just as quick as a poor installation. Most brands are very dependable, the were installed sloppily and maintained incorrectly.; Just my experience.

"No sweating with an air conditioner"
I bough the Lennox 13acx Air Conditioner last summer, and have enjoyed the ease and cold air that this air conditioner provides. Living in a small house, this unit was a cost effective way to stay cool in the hot summer without having to pay much money for the unit, or for the electrical bill. The unit does not offer a lot of features compared to other units, but the cost can't be beat. The unit is pretty quiet, but at times it appears to make more noise than other, more costly units. The air conditioner is from a trusted brand as I have bought many products over the years from them for various houses and projects. I wanted to make sure I had a reliable and quality unit for me home, so I only looked at the brand name products, and this one stood out as a winner. I also wanted one that came with a good warranty, and this unit came with a 5 year warranty, which is sufficient, as my experience is that most problems occur during the first two years.
