"Goodman Air Conditioner Review"
I recently bought the Goodman GSX130361 air conditioner for my home and I have only fantastic things to say about it so far. The installation went very smooth and the unit has worked very well overall. One of the great things about this air conditioner is that it is good for the environment as there is no chlorine used in its functionality. Additionally, it is very quiet and rarely will cause any disturbance in the household, except for when its adjusting its settings. One of the disadvantages, I believe, is the price as I had to spend close to fifteen hundred dollars to purchase this unit. I have yet to have to replace it and will continue using this until I feel it is time to upgrade. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend as I am very confident in its results. Good luck in your search!

I had this Unit for about a year now. I like that this unit is better than the last one I had. I dislike the electric bill, but its being to be far for my uses. This unit is brand new. I think I would go with a different brand, like Trans, I here thats the best model brand new out their. Not knowing if thats a fact or not. Or, I may let someone who is qualified give me some recommendations.

"Good as any other unit"
Home is 13 y/o. First 10 seer unit lasted 8 years and was hit by lightning. Second 10 seer unit made it 6 years and ran low on freon. Rather than fix it, I upgraded to a 13 seer and a 95% furnace combo. Cost value proposition on Goodman seems reasonable to me. I believe a good install makes a huge difference. And be aware many installers do not have the right equipment to pressure check the new high pressure 410 freon after install so you could be low on freon out of the gate.

"In the market for a new system"
The unit came with the home in 1997. Overall, it worked well. We had to change a capacitor and charged the system on biannual service. Now, the freon used for that system is either not being produced or too expensive. Looking for a replacement system.

Had Goodman unit installed 10 years ago. Other than $100/yr service contract to clean & check coils 2X/yr, has not cost a cent. Compressor went out about 2 years ago, replaced free under warranty. Always cools, good utility bills. Only thing that keeps it from a "Very Satisfied" rating is the noise. Outside unit is next to bedroom window & it scares the h*** out of me when it comes on. Inside unit so loud cannot hear the tv when it comes on. Always check the noise rating before buying! Also check the installer. They are probably more important than the unit.

I installed two 3 1/2 ton gas packs eleven years ago. Last year, the blower motor went out on one unit but I was able to replace it myself for $120. This year, the compressor froze up on the same unit so I will replace the entire unit. I will try to replace it with another Goodman but it will depend on what I can purchase.

"Goodman 13 seer a/c 410 A 3 ton"
We had a hole new A/C full unit $ 2970.00 and twice since it was installed on 7/21/2009. The fan motor went out. It works very good when it is running. But now the Williams company that installed it is not returning the calls. So it is the Goodman A/C. It keeps breaking down, and the A/C company which installed it got me mad. Not knowing where to go from here to get this fix and under warranty.

"GMC Air Conditioner"
Unit began leaking freon last year about this time. Contractor located a leak in the evaporator coil (above air handler). Running with leaky coil until I decided to replace or repair. The outside compressor unit is rusty and looks pretty bad. Unit still runs though.
